Credit card needed for limo ressies?

I just went to Southern Elegance's website to book for out July trip. After I filled in all the info, it asks for my CC info. I don't remember this with Tiffany and Cartier. I was going to pay cash, as I have done with the other 2 companies, but there's no cash option at Southern Elegance's site.

Is this just to make sure if I cancel they get their money anyway, or are they in effect saying they only take credit and no cash? I'm going to contact them, but I thought I see what Disers say about this. Thanks!

i would definitely call to check out their cancellation policies and when or if they will charge your credit card. i have had to leave my credit card before. i think that i did this with tiffany to hold my reservation and then just paid cash when they picked me up.
