Quick update - Yesterday the UPS UK charge went through but at $589.87 instead of $503.04. DH went to the bank as soon as they opened and they said that the reason for the difference was due to the exchange rate. They said they would take care of it and that afternoon we had a credit back to our account for the amount of all three charges.
Today I get a call from the Frand depart of our bank. They were calling concerning the UPS UK charge to see if it was authorized and I told them no. I told the gentleman on the phone that we had two other charges last week and we had put a stop on our card. He then asked about two other charges - Alloy for $619.20 and a shoe place for $192. I told him both of these charges were not authorized. When he looked at his computer he found that on the Alloy charge there was a note to pick up the card. These last two charges did not go through - thankfully.
We now think we know where the card got jacked from. Because when they called they asked for my DH and I told them I was his wife. He needed to talk to DH and not me. I made the comment that "Oh it was his card" and he checked and found that both our cards have the same number, so he could talk to me about it. When I told my DH about this, he figures it was when he ordered something last week and he had a problem with the order originally. So he is going to contact them and let they know they might have a problem.
When I thought it was someplace that I had ordered from recently, I let them know.
Hopefully this will be over soon. We have the money back from the orginal charges, but we are still waiting for our new cards. They have flagged our account for any charges coming through on the old card number.
