Just wanted to share a good experience I just had with a credit card customer service rep.
I have a Disney Visa (big surprise huh
) and I use it for a lot of business transactions. The business doesn't have a credit card and I get to build up my rewards points - a win win relationship.
In checking my purchases on-line this morning I found a charge for $310 that I had no recollection of.
Identity theft was my 1st reaction
I called the 800 # on the back of the card and spoke with a representative who then transferred me over to the "dispute department".
The dispute rep checked the transaction and I still couldn't recall it.
This is where he went over & above.... IMHO
He called the merchant for me, he found out exactly what is was for, he set up a conference call so I could also speak to the merchant and stayed on the line until we had the issue resolved.
Needless to say the charge was legitimate (an annual re-occurring web hosting fee) that I put on my c/c last year and they used that to bill this year's fee.
So today I am giving a big thumb up
to Disney Visa/Chase
and I'm also getting my $310 back from the business too
