Credit at Jet Blue

I spoke to an agent at 1 800 Jet-Blue about changing a flight reservation. She informed me that they have a policy about issuing a credit if you have areservation and find that the ticket price has gone down since your purchase. This credit applies even while booking on the web site. My family loves to travel to MCO from JFK on Jet Blue and I am always wondering if the rates on thier site will go down closer to departure dates. I guess it doesn't matter anymore because if it goes down I can call Jet Blue and they will credit me the difference. Just thought some may want to know to keep checking fares once in awhile.

Our rates went down last year $100.00 for four people they gave us credit to use within a year. We thought cool we'll use next itme which we are using on this flight. But after rebooking thru the 800 number and confirming we had right price and seats,when we got to airport that morning curbside said we had no assigned seats. After arguing with desk to no avail we had to sit in different seats split up dw and ds4 sat together and me dh and ds 9 sat in first row.So be careful.
