LOL! Wondering if most ppl stick to their old tried and trues each trip or venture out and try new restaurants!

We do both but the problem is we end up liking more and more restaurants that it becomes harder to try new ones!

This trip our tried and trues are: Trex, Ohana, CG and Biergarten

New ones are: Cape May, Capt Grill, Brown Derby and La hacienda
Will try and force myself to try new CS too like PVH and something in HS..

what about you??

We're running more & more into this problem. Each time we try more restaurants & we find more we love & want to repeat.Problem is we only go once a year for 6 nights.

Must does are:
DH - Coral Reef
me- LeCellier
also repeating Teppon Edo, Yak & Yeti, Ohana at supper

Picking up new this time: Artist Point
Ca Grill
Flying Fish
CRT
Tony's at Mk

We are tempted to do all repeats. But want to try new ones too.

We also find that we have a hard time deciding between where we have been and where we want to go. It has been much easier to decide where we don't want to return to. This trip we managed to add a few, repeat a few and repeat a couple in a different way.

New for us will be La Hacienda, Sanaa and Boma (breakfast). We are also dedicating a day to eating (and drinking) around F&W.
Repeats for us will be The Plaza, CG, Citricos, Cape May (Breakfast) and Chef Mickey's (breakfast) and 50's PTC.
Repeats with a twist will be the Wanyama Safari (Jiko) and Chef's Wine Tasting Dinner (Flying Fish).

I don't know if it's because we've been so many times (have eaten at all but 5 restaurants there) or if it's just that the food is not that great at 95% of the restaurants, but we have no tried and true list. I have 5 places that I think are better than the rest and we do try to eat at one of those.

We do both. We have certain restaurants we like to go back to (although the "must do" is not necessarily every trip). It really depends on who we are going with, etc. But, we usually try to add a few new places in or hit somewhere we haven't been in awhile!

We do both too and just like you we are liking more and more restaurants which makes it harder and harder to pick. For my tip in August, I litterally picked name out to know where I was eating at.

We have a 'must do' list, an every other year list and a new things to try list each time and try to mesh them all together without losing any loved ones!

We try to do as many new places as possible on each trip. We do have some favorites that we tend to gravitate back to in one way or another, though, even if it's only to get a snack in a lounge.

Even when we do repeat visits, though, we tend to try new things and specials over ordering the same thing every time. You know what they say about variety being the spice of life, and all.

at this point we've tried all the restaurants that appeal to us. we may sneak in a new adventure in the future... but for now, we're doing our "rotation" meals and our favorite meals. 3 meals we will always do every trip are Yachtsman, Ohana and Via Napoli.

In Sept, we're only going back to one of the tries & trues which is Kona Cafe.

The new ones so far are Shula's, Bistro de Paris, Blue Zoo. We're just winging it for the rest of our meals.

We always try new places when we go to Disney (about every 2-3 years) as well as returning to maybe one favorite -- and this October we are returning to the Brown Derby -- but our new choices will be Citricos, Flying Fish and Kouzzina. This is in addition to attending the F&W Festival and the Swalphon Food Festival. We can't wait.

For our May trip we were more like the wild child. We tried alot of different places at dh request. We did:

Flying Fish
Citricos for our anniv.
Hollywood Brown Derby
Gasparillas at the GF
Captains Grille dinner

for our upcoming December trip the only new one we are trying is:
Rose and Crown lunch

Next year the only place new we are thinking of is Sanaa for lunch

We are usually creatures of habit, but only because my child is VERY big on tradition and doesn't express interest in being a wild child.

This trip we are doing 7 TS meals - I said we could eat at 4 of our usual places, but the other 3 would be restaurants we've never been to. Our usual haunts are Sci Fi, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, and Chef Mickey's. The new ones (picked by my son) are Coral Reef, Mama Melrose's, and Yak and Yeti. I'm very excited to be eating at some different restaurants this time.

After our trip this October, we won't be going back until the summer of 2013, so I'll have nearly 2 years to talk him into 7 NEW places next time!

We are a bit of both..on our next trip (Oct) we are going to 6 oldies and 4 newbies...Sanaa, Kouzzina, Rose & Crown and Artist Point
