Creative way to mark stroller?

I read on this board that you should buy something to mark your stoller with. Well, I went out and bought some bright yellow fabric.

Now my question is, what is a good way to mark the stroller? Do you just tie it around the handle or has anyone here done something really creative to make it stand out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have done a couple of things (tying ribbon to the handle etc) but the best one was when we created a sign with our family name on it and laminated it before we left. We then attached this to the stroller. It was the only one like it and easy to find.

We found another great way to mark the stroller for night time activities. Especially leaving Fantasmic. The stroller "parking lot" is impossible to find anything in. It is packed and the CMs move things around. One year we got a flashing light from Wal-Mart that we put on the stroller. When the show was over, we were able to find our stroller easily. The only one flashing at us.

I bought some of those glow sticks for night time to use.

When you laminated your name, did you tie it to the handle? Or what how did you attach to the stroller?

Hi etwinchester ,

Switch that yellow for Lime Green Ribbon, to show that you're a member of the DIS;)

What works for us is:
We purchased those round Smart Tags for luggage (found in the luggage section at our Walmart). They come in bright orange, and of course, Lime Green. I think they're only a couple of dollars a pair.
We just tie one of those on the stroller, and it just has our last name on it, but has lines for address, too.

If your flying, the tags really do stand out at the baggage claim area, making it easy to spot your luggage.

Hope this helps,
-Mark

We used a hole punch to put a couple holes in the laminated sign. Then we attached the sign with some large lightweight brightly colored ribbon. This added to the ability to see the stroller quickly and could be easily untied at the end of the day.

I think we used Lime Green ribbon.

I have seen comments before about the problems of finding your stroller at the end of Fantasmic, since the CMs may have moved the stroller from where you left it.

Knowing this, I suggest that if you want to get the exact stroller back (say, if you have left your belongings in it) to have some sort of identification method finding it again.

Although it is probably best at Fantasmic to take all your stuff with you.

During Fantasmic, can you keep your stroller with you? I haven't been to Disney in 15 years so I have no idea about these things.

No, you can't keep your stroller with you. There is a stroller parking lot at the top of the ramp where you will be instructed to leave you stroller.

We have always taken our own stroller to WDW so we defintely want our original one back. Unfortunately, it seems to resemble most of the other personal strollers. Especially at the end of a long day. The flashing light was cheap, easy, and worked great! We just made sure to have fresh batteries in it at the start of the day when we knew we were going to need it that night.

I am going for the first time with my grandkids next month. Their parents are bringing their double stroller to use in the parks. I plan to pack a long dowel rod, cable ties, tape and make a triangle flag from poster board and paint it lime green. We will then assemble and attach to the stroller. This should stand out above the stroller making it easier to find. We hope

I had never even given this a thought before our last trip. Someone suggested a bright tape to make my luggage more noticable in the airport. I bought it and put it on everything luggage, carryons, carseat and carraige. Not only did it make the airport easy but it was wonderful at the parks. My family still teases me but traveling with 3 children and 3 adult gets very confusing.

When me kids were little I went out and bought the ugliest, brightest scarf I could find. Used it for years and never had a doubt it was our stroller. Boy were those colors ugly!!!! I remember I bought it for $1 at a local discount store. I guess nobody wanted to wear it but it sure was a good choice for us!! Thanks for letting me "stroll" down memory lane!!

Have a Great Time Everyone!!!
