Creating a Disneyland Resort App

Really great info and ideas... Here are some of the things we have planned.

- Interactive Park Map: You will basically see who is on the app and at the park. Every time you update the app with a wait time, a message, etc... it will post your avatar on the park map.

- Parking Location: You will able to post a note of where you parked. Lot, Character, and Section

- Wait Times: Similar to every other wait time app out there, but with the option to click onto the attraction and post what wait time you would be willing to wait. When your wait time is posted on the app, you will get a notification. Also get notifications when the attraction breaks down, fastpass ending for the day, etc...

- One click Restroom, Photopass, Character locations

- Touring Plans

- Expert Advice: If you have a question you can send it to an expert via text and the expert can either call or text you back depending on your preference.

- News: A notification when there is a change to the park schedule. For example, park is to remain open later, or they added a show to Fantasmic.

Some of the basic features will be free and other features you will have to pay a small fee.

I would like the ability to check in while I am there and then have Push notifications for a lot of the things others have mentioned. I would like to have Push for show times, parades, Character sitings, Fast Pass Reminder, and Rides down.

Love all the other ideas too.

I was thinking this morning (Yes, I think about DL in the car, I know you all do too) that it would awesome to get character siting updates. DD is obsessed with Mary Poppins and I'd love to be able to meet her and Bert on the next trip.

Where the characters are located and when.

While on the bathroom thing that others mentioned, can you add a * or something for those that include a companion restroom as an option? (I know where most of those are at WDW but not at DL). Those companion restrooms are a lifesaver for me, I usually go to Disney Parks with just me and my special needs adult son. Now that I think of it, (luckily) not many people would ned that feature, lol.

I think allowing users to add useful tips or comments for each attraction/restaurant/shop etc? Maybe you can tap on the spot on the map and there's the option to see the comments?

I second (or third) the idea about trivia for each attraction.

Maybe a trivia game with a leader board?

I would definitely like to help test. We have annual passes and visit quite often.

It would be cool to have a Disney triva quiz for when you have to wait in line. You could do a set of kid's questions, and a set of adult's questions.
