I just tried to log in on the DVC website. I have been doing this every day (sometimes multiple times a day) as we work on changing vacation plans. When I got to the enter your password screen I got a message that said "looks like you haven't in recently, we need you to change your password". (That may not be exact - but it is close.). What? I sign in all of the time.

I've gotten that from time to time, but when I closed it out and tried again...I didn't have to do anything.

I just got something similar. "We've detected a problem with your account, and need you to reset your password to continue. Please check your email for instructions." Didn't get an email. Email received

I got it this morning too. I did get the email and changed password there. I tried to log into another Disney site Dcl and got the same change password.

I'm having the same problem. I got the email, changed my password and was able to get into the website one time. The next time I tried to log on, I got the password reset message again and now can't get into my account.

Got the email. clicked link. wasn't sure if was legit, so I came back here. When I went back, the link has now expired and I can't get another email sent. so frustrating.

Yep! The exact same thing happened to me. It said I hadn't logged in for awhile (not true), needed to change the password and sent me an email. I clicked on the link in the email, changed the password, then tried to log on with the new one and all my accounts were locked. I submitted multiple requests to reset the password and it would tell me they sent an email, but I never received them other than that first one that apparently locked my account.

As it was system wide, I tried calling the general Disney tech support number. After an hour on hold, I tried DVC MS on my cell phone and chose the prompt for tech support. It only took about 5 minutes to get through and she was able to send me a reset email and all was fixed. Of course that changes my password across all Disney platforms which is a pain.

Thanks Disney IT. But seriously, if you're having this issue go through Member Services. The fix was very quick for me once I had the sense to go that route.

Good luck!

Edited to add: One other weird thing happened. About 45 minutes to an hour after this whole mess started for me, I received what appeared to be a phishing email claiming to be from Comcast saying that I needed to verify my email account and had a link to click to do so. It looked fake to me so I just deleted it. I logged into my Comcast account separately and all was perfectly fine. It could just be a coincidence, but I wondered if anyone else had the same thing happen to them, especially if they have a Comcast email account.

I had the same thing happen to me this morning when I was logging in. My kids were not happy that it signed them out of Disney + 🤣
