Crazy Question

Hey gang,
I live in Texas and go to Disney World every year. Well, my FH might be transfered to Orlando for his job and I was wondering if anyone knew how you can become a CM at Disney World. I worked as a CM for the DS in Texas for a year, but never thought I would live in Orlando, so I never thought I would have the option of working there. Anyway, if anyone knows of anything please let me know!

LOL I did a search on google and all I found was resumes of people who were cast members. It found 4600.

Hi irishone1979-

DBF's cousin lived in Orlando and was a greeter at Coronado Springs for two years. She often (every chance she got really) tried to convince DBF and I to move to Orlando and me to get a job as a CM. If you go to Casting which is located right across from Downtown Disney she said that they have all open CM positions posted and anybody can go in, look at what's available and fill out an application.

There are plenty of jobs there if you don't mind starting at the bottom and working your way up. She said you really need to put your time in before you can get a decent job. Her Husband got a job in Melbourne and they have sinced moved away, so she doesn't work there any longer otherwise I would have her get in touch with you.

But check out casting next time you are down there.

I think I will do that. We are not for sure on the whole job thing. He would love to move to Florida, but we just built a house and right now is not the greatest time. I will keep that in mind though when I am for sure about the job situation. I don't mind starting at the bottom, I'm used to that- I worked in retail for 7 years!!!! I just loved working at the Disney Store and would love to work at Disney World. Couldn't stay at DS because I have a child and they don't pay enough to support a family of 2
