Is Splash Mountain open year round? ie., around Christmas time?

As far as I know it is open all year. We were there last new years eve and it was open. My girls wore ponchos and rode it 6 times in a row.

Yes, it only closes for rehabs or mechanical problems.

It was closed during your last trip because they are doing a major refurb. Not usually the case though!

Perfect. We were there in March when it was closed and are planning our next trip since we are having withdrawls already.

Absolutely, one year we rode at 11:30 pm, in NOVEMBER! lol Walked right on, rode it a few times then ran to the train station on NOS (soaked) and rode the train to the entrance and walked to the GCH, man, that was fun!! Cold but fun!

Splash is closed right now...I think it reopens something like May 27....but otherwise as others said, year round. Walking around wet in December isn't quite as wonderful as it is in July, but it's open, lol. We just got home from Disneyland and it was quite warm this past week....would have been nice if it wasn't closed for refurb. We got to peer thru the fence and watch as they did test runs.....empty logs still land pretty hard, lol.
