Crazy Idea?? Illuminations Cruise & E-Ride Night

We are going to be at WDW from June 27 to July 2. We have an Illuminations Cruise booked for June 28th which is also an E-ride night. As of now, Illuminations is scheduled for 9pm. MK is open until 11 so E-ride night would be from 11pm-2am. Is it crazy if we try to get to MK after our Illuminations cruise? Spectro is having a second showing at 11pm. Is it possible that I could get there in time to see Spectro? We are planning on going to the E-ride night on June 30th so this isn't our only chance. I know it is going to crowded the week that we are there and I figure we can get most of the rides we want to get done during E-ride night. It is just the two of us and we are in our mid twenties so there are no kids to contend with. If we were to attempt this what is the best way to get to MK at this time of night? Drive? Bus? Thanks for any help and advice!

If you will have a late start to your day and plan on sleeping in the next day, I suppose it would be doable. After your cruise, you could grab a cab to the MK (it will let you out at the TTC where you would take the monorail to the MK)- or wait for a bus from that resort hotel that is going to the MK.

After you return to the yc/bc dock, walk straight thru the hotel and grab a cab.

I would have the cab drop you at the contemporary and just walk to MK gate from there.

I think that will be the least minutes on the clock way to go.
