We are trying to coordinate DH coming for the weekend. If we stay in one resort over the weekend and switch to another on Sunday, could he use DME from the second hotel late that night? He would not be on that ressie as we will be moving to smaller and less occupancy villa, but will have been on first resort until check out Sunday.

Interesting question. Technically, he might be able to squeeze in on the first resort reservation. I guess all he can do is give it a shot.
At the very worst, if he is denied access to the bus, then he can just walk over to the Mears counter (just before the DME counter) and pay $19 to get a ride on the Mears shuttle to the resort...then, he could go to either resort.
Just curious though....how is he getting back to the airport??

We will all be driving down Friday and staying at the first resort 2 nights. We will move to the DVC Sunday and he will be flying home after a very late EMH at MK. So he just needs DME from the resort to the airport.

Ooops, I misunderstood. I thought he was joining you when you moved to the villa and needed a ride to the resort 'from' the airport. Sorry.
You should be able to make a DME reservation, right at the resort when you check in, for your dh to return to MCO late that Sunday night. That shouldn't be an issue. The only issue that may arise is the time he actually gets on the bus...if it's after midnight, then he may no longer 'qualify' since he is no longer 'registered' at that resort. What time is his flight? That may make all the difference. He may have to miss some of EMH's.

We haven't booked airfare yet. He just got the okay to skip out early Friday and come in late Monday a couple hours ago...kids and I are booked to check in Sunday and want him to come too; if he does we will go down Friday and he will have a few days & get to see MSEP. His flight would probably be 5:30 or 6:30 am, so DME would pick up about 2:30 or 3:30 and EMH ends at 2.

He would need to go home from the first resort, the one he last stayed at. At any rate he needs his DME reservation made at least a day in advance of when he will leave.

Not sure whether there are DME buses leaving the resort for the airport after around 9 PM since there are no flights departing that late (midnight). Or are there?

That's what I thought. I'm just not sure how they will deal with it being after midnight when he needs to be picked up. That's an interesting question. He may very well have to miss part of Sunday's fun with you guys and get an earlier flight out. You might want to call DME and see what they say.

or return to the first resort to catch DME, since that is the resort reservation he is listed on. It wouldn't hurt to ask DME when arriving.
