Crazy buffet question...

I have recently had gastric bypass surgery and even when I am at 'full capacity' in the future, I will only be able to eat about 6 ounces of food at a time. I can get a card to request kids meals or half-portions.

Has anyone done this at the buffets like Boma? Curious as to whether they will honor. I can't see paying $15 for half a plate of food.

At Disney restaurants, you can order from the children's menu without any problem. Don't feel obligated to explain your situation either -- just order what you want.

As for the buffets, since you are an adult, they will probably charge you the adult price, regardless of how much or how little you eat. If I were you, I'd skip the buffets and stick with restaurants that offer meals from the menus. You'll save money in the long run.
