I know this sounds absurd, but thats my DH:)
He hates pine trees we have about twenty of them and the needles are over every thing we own. We are always cleaning out of our cars and house.
Anyway my question is for the cabins is there a particular area w/ less pine trees. I know its silly. However, it will make him happy if I at least ask

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: what ever site you happen to get is the one with the least trees....wink-wink....:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know its crazy stupid, but he really hates pine trees.
However, he loves all other trees:lovestruc

we are from pa and pine trees are everywhere, to be honest I am not even sure if its the same in florida

But I agree with you, the site we get is the one with the least.
I swear if he counts them, cm will be fishing him out of the lake

There are plenty of Pine Trees at Fw, I had to get up on top of my slideout to sweep off the neddles before we left.

I've stayed in a cabin. I don't recall feeling any sense of overly pine! Like everything else at Disney - it's very pleasant. I don't even think there were bugs!!!!!!!

well they are everywhere so I don't think he will be so happy.....just tell him God put them there for silly tree huggers like me and to just ignore them!!:hippie:

Ask for the cabin underneath the "Lawn MowerTree" I think it will suit your hubby just fine!:thumbsup2

Nothing sticks out it my mind as for alot of pine trees. I don't know about your area but pine trees are everywhere here.I did a search to find some pictures but only found one or two ( I didn't look for long )but I know some people here have some. While I don't think you can get away from them completely, there are other trees as well. One picture I saw only had 1 pine near the cabin and it wasn't that close.Good luck and I'm sure someone will have some good pictures of the landscape.

I guess I will swallow my pride and fear the cm will laugh at me and make a request for a cabin w/ little to no pine trees, since it seems it could happen.
thanks everyone

We stayed in a cabin in the 2400 loop last September. There were lots of pine trees around but I don't remember the needles being a problem. The maintenance crew came through with leaf blowers daily and cleaned off the road, paths and decks at each cabin.

You know, you could tell the CM's that you have an allergy to pine pollen, and you need to be as far away as possible. Maybe that would help?

Has anybody ever notice how Disney uses pine needles as mulch in the flower beds around the different parks and FW and Wl. There are lots of pine trees in Florida. I would not let that stop your trip as that will become a secondary thought once you arrive at FW.

Honestly, I am sure they have heard more "off the wall" requests other than that. I don't think you have to fear about the CM's.;) ;)

Great idea with the Live Maps :thumbsup2

I don't know about the cabins but at the tent sites, they must have felt we didn't have enough pine needles. :lmao: This was waiting for us at our site:

I'm living in Arizona now, pining for Pine trees.

Maybe you should consider staying somewhere else.

Well I took a ride around last weekend and decided to look around at the cabins. These are some pictures of the 2300 loop on peacock pass. The loops around this one seem to be near the same for pine tree. There are some that a filled in other loops. The road pictures are on peacock pass near the 2300 loop.
