Crap! MDE won't let me make my FP+ ressies!!

The same thing happened to me when I did my 60 day fast pass selection. For some reason, the window does not open until 1am. I stayed up till then because I had read some other post from other disers in the days before my day that this was the case. Didn't get to bed until after 2am and was up at 5:30am. That was an exhausting day!

I guess I should have noted in my earlier post that August 23rd was our arrival date, but the 24th was the first day we were at a park. Therefore we could start booking for our whole trip today.

If you don't arrive until the 24th, you'll have to wait until tomorrow - try 1AM. That seems to be the Golden Hour ...

Nightly plea to the mods to plant a Sticky that says "YOUR FP+ WILL NOT WORK RIGHT AT MIDNIGHT ON DAY 60, BE PATIENT AND KEEP TRYING"

So every night we do not get 3+ threads of people freaking out and don't know how to use the search feature.

As a freaker-outer on June 18th, I would have VERY MUCH appreciated a sticky. However, I also know how to search, ha.

Just as a reference for people who are unsure when they can book - you can call and ask what day specifically you can start booking. And, the packet they send you one you book your trip has a magnet with the date on it.

I don't know how many times I have been told by CMs, mailed packets about my trip, and my TA that July 22 is my FastPass booking day for my arrival September 20. That date is drilled into my head.

Me too, but it wouldn't have helped me--I know how to search, but when you're frantically trying to get dressed for work and look at the Dis while gulping down breakfast and packing your lunch, who has time to use it lol?

No luck for me either. It has changed my message to read that I can start making selections on August 24th (my check-in date) and getting the error of not having a linked/valid ticket in the timeframe, blah blah blah. I think I'll wait it out until 1:00ish and then just try in the morning.

I got my online check-in done though, so that's something.

I got in at 1:00 as well. I had 7 days worth to book and got everything in at pretty much the times I wanted (within a few minutes).

It took a few minutes for my first day, but I finally figured out the easiest way was to make initial selection at times much different than I wanted and then just do change to time to get exactly what I wanted. It was easier to manipulate the scheduling when I didn't have any FP in the times I wanted.
