So last night I ended up sitting on a chair that was on top of my foot. Sounds weird but I was sitting on the chair and kind of rocking it back and hopping with it backwards so that I could move myself and the chair back a little bit without actually getting up and I ended up with the chair leg on the top of my foot. Extreme pain! I thought I was going to have a huge bruise because it was really blue and swollen last night but this morning it looks like just a scratch.

The humidity makes summer feel like a sauna, but it hasn't been too bad this week. I am a summer girl, I hate winter.

Jrsy - ya, our house is 3 levels so our bedroom is impossible to get cooled off. I am seriously looking for a room air conditioner to put up there when we go to bed. Hoping they clearance those out soon!

What ever happened with that house that was for sale on Cristi's cul-de-sac?

And we never did manage to get all of us together for a BBQ this summer. Anyone interested in still trying? It'd be cool to have Chris' girls along with Rachel and Jacob and Alex. I think Tammy and I would be willing to host.

Jrsy - too expensive, we cannot afford it on my salary alone. Chris has 2 more years left of school and then we could get it! I am up for a BBQ still but it will have to be after Labor Day. I know my parents go on their cruise September 12th for a week. But after that, hoping my girls don't have anything planned so we can get them, it would be fun!

I certainly understand if you want to have a BBQ when we are on the cruise. Summer is closing soon! If not, maybe we could just meet at Clement Park and have a pot luck. We have a croquet set and MAYBE volleyball.

Aren't you so sweet. Thanks for thinking of Ted and I. Plus, I would absolutely hate to miss a margarita or two. I LOVE THEM!!! I need to watch her. We attempted to make some one time and they were horrible. Shhhhh, don't tell Ted.

Colorado people, just found out that the old Black Eyed Pea bldg on Wads will be torn down and a Chick Fil A will be going in. I know that Heidi will be happy!

Did someone mention margaritas and a trampoline.......I am so there! 2 of my favorite things!

Mom - I am SOOOOOO HAPPY they are turning that into a Chick Fil A!!! Now I don't have to drive as far to get my fix. It will be a tough decision on where I would go, Chick Fil A or Del Taco!

Someone bought the house on my street. The closing is tomorrow. From what I hear it is a single guy with a 14 year old and an 11 year old. A girl and a boy, but we don't know which is which. I am hoping the 14 year old is not a boy.

I would like to get together with everyone too. Brad and I have been talking about having a big party all summer, but we haven't been able to get it together. Maybe I am dragging my feet because of the situation with my aunt and not knowing how long she has left.

I don't know for sure if we will be able to go to the GABF. Rachel is trying out for a competitive volleyball league tonight and the practices might be on Thursdays from 5-7. I hope to know more by tomorrow. I told Brad he could go without me, but he doesn't want to.

Selena, hang in there. I hope things get better.
