I'm off again tomorrow, too. Figured since I turned 40, I'd schedule a physical. Then I'll take the rest of the day to play. We have guitar lessons on Saturday, then going out with the family on Saturday night, then Sunday is our Guitar-beque at Red & Jerry's.

I just woke up and wanted to check in. I am very sad and lost. The funeral was so hard. My Aunt got in my face and made a scene and I just walked out being the bigger person. Then at the funeral it self, I sat up front and she was the leader so she sat 2 pews behind me and everyone followed suit. I am poison, she couldn't be near me. I did have a lot of support though. I cried very hard for my brother who never showed up. Every time I saw a pall bearer, who were all my first cousins I cried for my brother.

Sorry I have been AWAL for a bit. I have been working in the main office and have not had the time to come on line much.

Jrsy, HAPPY very late BIRTHDAY!!!

Today is MacKenzie's 16th birthday. I saw her for about 10 minutes this morning. She had to work. I am making her a peach cobbler. I bought some vanilla bean ice cream too. I can smell the cobbler ... it smells so good. She was suppose to be able to make one in home ec today but they froze their funds and they can not bake anything else this year. SO I made her one. Tomorrow we are going to Carowinds (rollercoasters...amusement park) and Sunday my mom is bringing her real birthday cake. It is the same one I made her last year. The huge strawberry shortcake. My mom's is prettier so I am letting her make it.

Marcie - I am sorry your Aunt made it so much harder on you, I wish I could be there with you right now. You are in my heart and my prayers. We love you and I am willing to do anything for you if you need something.

Marcie, I am so sorry for your loss and for how your family is treating you. Remember, we all love you and are here for you.

I just missed the bottom step at Stacey's and I think I twisted or sprained my ankle., I am sooooooo scared that it is sprained. The trip is in 2 weeks. I won't have mending time. I just did it. Ted is going to Walmart for an ace bandage and I am icing it. It is very stiff, swelling and sore. I think it is bruising. On top of it, we are suppose to babysit most of tomorrow and Tyler is having non stop seizures. I can't be of much use with a sprained ankle. Not even sure if I should go to the doctor tomorrow, I feel so stupid. So useless. So scared.

Selena, peach cobbler sounds soooo yummy. Wish I could have a piece. Happy birthday Mac!

Went to urgent care today. Definitely sprained. Soooooo badly swollen and bruised. Should be ok for CR as long as the swelling isn't hiding anything worse. I have to strictly follow the RICE, rest ice, compression and elevate.

Well, let's just say that I am at Stacey's but Heidi and Ted are doing all the babysitting while I bark orders from my recliner......get me this, get me that. Hate it!

My mom's poor foot. I hope it gets better before her trip to Costa Rica. It is very swollen and black and blue and it just hurts to watch her try and walk.

Sandy, I am so sorry you have hurt your ankle. Positive thoughts are coming your way! Stay off of it so that you may be a bit better when you guys leave!

I am totally exhausted!! This weekend has been very tiring. Carwonds was nice but HOT. Normally when we go to Carowinds when it is hot the water park is open but it does not open until Memorial Day. I did not ride many rides. I think I am just getting old and I do not like to be beat up while riding a rollercoaster anymore. I found a nice shaded area and sat there for a couple of hours. lol

My parents came today for Mac's birthday lunch. The cake was awesome!!! It is in the fridge. I might have to go get some more shortly. Mac had to work and my parent's took her an hour ago. She is sick on her stomach. I felt awful seeing her going to work when she does not feel well. I am hoping they will just send her home.

Poor Mac. Not fair to be sick and be a birthday girl!

Ted is a terrific husband. I hate just sitting watching him do all the work. I just don't have it in me. He cleaned the entire trailer. We came home, he cut the lawn and is now doing MY laundry. Hate it!!

Sandy, I hope your ankle is healing up for your trip.

Aerial suggested that her and I go shopping. We really needed time together alone so I found the energy and brought her out. She had to get a confirmation dress, which we accomplished. But freshman prom is in 2 weeks and we didn't find anything for it. I am beyond exhausted now. I think I'll be going to bed soon since I'm going back to work tomorrow. I also got her some board shorts for Disney, I can't believe the trip is almost here. I have a lot of things to do. Thank you all for your support and checking on me. I feel a little bit like I am barely staying afloat. Good thing I have to for Aerial, it's keeping me above water.
