Selena - OMG, that pineapple martini sounds so good. There is nothing better than fresh pineapple.

We had a lot of fun at the Cheesecake Factory, I really enjoy that place. Saturday we went to my adopted grandparents house for some awesome home cooking. She grew up on a farm and all of her dishes are usually filled with cream and butter. Very good and very fattening! Then sunday I was miserably sick and just sat on the couch all day doing nothing, didn't even get out of my pajamas. Hoping to make it through work today!

We're there for "Halloween season" but not actually on Halloween. Our travel dates are 10/17 - 10/21 with the 18-20 being our dates in the parks. They have Mickey's Trick or Treat party at California Adventure, but I think it is on Wed - Fri nights, so we'll miss it. We will get to see the Haunted Mansion overlay, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy and the new Halloween fireworks as well as all of the Halloween decorations.

I love the Halloween decorations at WDW. Just a cool fall atmosphere even though it is boiling hot. I am excited for you! Even though you miss the party at least Alex can trick or treat when he gets home.

Yesterday we found out that Chris is allergic to cats and horses (we already knew that), grass, dust and our dog. We will keep our dog because he has been living with her for the last 8 years so he can obviously survive living with her for the remainder. Out of a scale from 0-4 he was 4+ to cats, horses, grass and 3+ for dogs. Not sure what he was for dust. So I guess that means he either has to live in a bubble or no pets for me. So this weekend is a deep cleaning weekend for us, getting rid of all the dog hair, etc. We will probably by a steam cleaner for the carpet, any suggestions?

Monday morning, Tammy walked past a house in our neighborhood, about a block from ours, that was surrounded by crime scene tape. It was still there Monday after work but all of the lights were on in the house; no cars outside, though, other than the one that is always in the driveway. As of this morning, the crime scene tape is still up but the lights have finally been shut off. We haven't seen any activity there and none of the cars that are typically out front are there anymore. There was nothing in the newspapers, so it looks like we're going to have to turn to the local gossip sources to find out what happened.

You just need a good citrus vodka and fresh cut pineapple and 21 days. It is hard to juice the pineapple though. We did go to Firebirds on Thursday and now I am spoiled with our own Pineapple Martinis.

My MIL was suppose to let us borrow her steam cleaner but when Jeff called today as she told him she was not at home. He was none to happy about it because he worked his entire schedule around his mom today.l

Oops, sounds like Mom blew it, Selena. Glad you brought up the pineapple martini again. I copied the recipe and then forgot it. Sounds so refreshing. My carpet needs cleaning but I think we will do it professionally. To keep our warranty up on the carpet, it needs to be done that way once a year.
