Hey Cristi. You are right, it is going to be hard to not clench. I did bring my nasty mouth/nightguard to work with me. I figured if I notice my mouth getting tired I will pop it in. The dr said it might help with that feeling.

I agree with you about Jrsy. I wondered the same thing.

You are going to laugh but once he told me I was correct and I did have TMJ/TMD/TMJD...I felt a bit of relief. I honestly had begin to wonder if something horrible was wrong. I thought maybe I had a tumor or something. I know that sounds horrible but honestly it ran thru my mind. This is a much needed relief.

Woke up this morning with a nasty sore throat. I am hoping the steroid will help that inflammation as well.

Jrsy - Alex is really tall, he has changed so much since the last time I have seen him. Loved the picture of you and your niece, she looks like she really loves her uncle.

Heidi when Dr Vic asked me what I could do to relieve the stress all I knew to say was summer...summer ...2 wonderful months of no crap from work.

I do love my job but the stupidity that my direct boss puts me thru at times is crazy. She is not a nice person and the other 2 secretarys in the office are actually more hateful than her. I respect my boss but that is it. I am not the only one she treats this way so at least I know I am not being singled out, however, I am the only one she takes things so far with. Which really is confusing since I have never lied to her and always have doctor's notes.

There is no talking to her because the times I have tried she just blames her ways on being from the north. Well I am sick and tired of hearing I am taking her wrong because she is from the North. I mean how can I take her wrong when she calls my dad which lives an hour away to see if I am truly sick? Get real!! I am 40 and she called my daddy. She takes things way too far. How would my father know if I am sick? His number is only for emergencies. Of course when I came back to work that time, she said the prinicpal was the one to require her to call my father. So, there is no going to anyone about this situation. However, for now on I am making sure that the prinicpal understands when I am out and what for.

All I have to do is provide a doctor's note when I am out 3 or more days or around holidays or breaks. There should be no reason for her to ever call me when I am out sick. I am sick, if I wanted to talk to her I would have come to work.

Each year we have to fill out a contact card. Next year there will only be 2 numbers on that card. It will be my husbands personal cell and mine.

I wasn't invited to be in the photo, so I was pouting. Who says you can't get what you want by pouting? I got in the picture after all. Now I'm going to pout about those 40 bikini photos I still am waiting for from certain monkeys.

There are also a bunch of really blurry photos of my niece holding my hand as we walked through DTD but because it was dark and we were moving, her dad couldn't get a decent shot.

We have a guideline of 2 weeks to at least contact the client for any information we still need. 5 or 6 weeks is a bit long, did they have any major questions they needed answered? Are they normally faster? I ask because every firm could have a bad year. This year was our worst year with the accountant who left. I really think though you should have heard from them before today with some kind of discussion.

If this is not ironic tell me what is?

I have had laryngitis now for 2 days. Yesterday I was able to talk a bit over a whisper. Then today I cannot talk over a whisper. I am at work. I have not taken off. Heck today I actually feel half way decent (between the cold and the TMJD). I figured being here in some capacity was better than none, right?

I sent an email out to everyone telling them I can not talk and will not be able to talk on the phone. I have my student pages making phone calls.

My boss (the one I told you about calling my daddy) is out today. The 2 other secretaries talked one of the AP's into sending me home since I can't talk. I tried to refuse but she said no if they could get George, a sub, to come in for me I was going home. OK....fast forward about 15 minutes...George can not come in for me because of doing his taxes.

Of course the one secretary that is having to take messages is livid and 2 times she has stormed into my office and threw messages at me....it really is comical. Sorry I know it should upset me, but if you could just see her doing this. The other came over to tell me that even whispering was bad for me.

Tomorrow my boss will be back. She refuses to pay for a sub when we are out. If I am out this means all of my work will have to be done by the secretary that is throwing notes at me.

I just found this very ironic. It does not seem that I can win for losing.
