I know what you mean. On Jacob's report cards they have the numbered comment 1-6 are good things and 7-11 are things like "doesn't pay attention", "late assignments". He had on #5 (creative ability) and then several late assignment, and doesn't pay attention ones. I told him that next year he needs to not have any of the higher numbers and that if he can do that I am sure his grades will go up by a grade or more.


Today is his birthday. He wants to go to the movies this morning to kill time until Brad gets home and he can open presents.
