I wore shorts yesterday; did you guys see the glare?

So about 3 or 4 weeks ago, we went to Play It Again Sports and bought second-hand tennis rackets, 2 for $15 each and one for $8. We finally got a day that was nice enough and we weren't too busy, so we went and played a little bit yesterday. The cover that came with my racket has a zippered pocket on the inside, so I was going to put my wallet and phone in it. I opened it and inside found a bunch of papers and a $20 bill! It has clearly been there for a while because it is one of the older bills, before Andrew Jackson's head became so large. Among the papers were the receipt for the racket and cover ($150 + $21), a receipt for a tennis club membership in Illinois and a credit card receipt with the cc number on it! Of course the dates were from about 20 years ago, so I'm sure the cc number isn't valid anymore, but I'm going to shred it anyway.

Jrsy that $20 is probably from 20 years ago too. lol That is awesome luck!!! WTG

Sandy, glad to have you home. I love the pictures. Did you have a great time? I am sure it is hard to not see Tyler. How long do you have to wait to see the babies?

Marcie I think it is wonderful that Aeriel is going to go see someone. I agree, I think it would help you if you made an appointment for yourself. My going to see a counselor helped me to deal with the issues between my mom and myself. I know that I am in a good place and I know I am a good person. It was a struggle finding my good place but I am here and I am more confident of my place. Good Luck!! You deserve to take care of yourself.

I am still struggling with Mac and the crapper boy. I took Jeff out with friends last night and attempted to trust Mac but once again she broke the trust. I am so sick and tired of this boy. Is it horrible of me to wish him to move or something??? I really can not stand him. I am going to make some calls today to his parents. I just need them to know that he must stay away from MacKenzie. I am not sure if this is the correct thing to do but in the past they have asked for my support and now I am going to call in that favor. Wish me luck. I pray that one day in the near future Mac will see what I am doing is for the best. As of now she hates me with a passion. I just can not side aside and allow her to follow this path.

I just called Wyatt's cell number and it is not allowing incoming phone calls. (????) Anyway I called their home phone and left a message for Wyatt to call me on my cell phone and if he gets the message after 4 to call me at home. I know Mac is going to be very upset with me. As I said before she does not like me at all right now. I also am not getting the support from Jeff that I need. Long story. I hope Wyatt will respect my request. I am sure it will piss him off. I have no clue what to say to him. I just want him to keep Shawn away from Mac. I am not going to tell him that his son is so mentally abusive that we do not want them to ever be around one another. I will not go that far. After all I am not sure if I would like to hear that as a parent. I am going to explain how Shawn bullied Mac yesterday and that made her make a horrible decision that lead her to go against our wishes and to violate her punishment. In doing this it caused a huge problem between Jeff and myself.

I do not know how much more I can punsih MacKenzie. I realize with her decisions yesterday that grounding her has not worked. I did tell her if I hear that she goes against my wishes again I may sale her car. I have no clue what to do with her. She is a great kid. The things she has done is really nothing compared to other children her age. Nothing we say or do is getting thru to her. I hate that Shawn has this type of control over MacKenzie. It makes me so very angry.

I hope the dad will respect your wishes and make sure that his DS will stay away from Mac. I am sure she will eventually understand that you are doing this to help her, but that won't happen until she is away from him and realize how much better she is without him. Lots of hugs to you.

I guess he had a good birthday. He took the day off and he was bored. Then we came back home to Mac's crap. It is all just a mess. I really do not feel that Jeff sees the bigger picture and he acted a bit unsupportive last night. Is it wrong that I really do not care too much if his birthday was not what he wanted? I mean I hope he enjoyed it and I did everything in my power to make it good but I am just upset with him right now. As they say, this too will pass.

The phone call went well. Wyatt was very receptive. However, some crap went down yesterday at school between Mac and Shawn. I had told her Monday evening she was no longer aloud to talk to him. She tried to explain this to him and ... let me put it this way...he should be glad we are not pressing charges. Needless to say last night was not a good night for anyone in the house. I am hoping that Mac is now strong enough to stay away from him. I am trying very hard to find the positive in a very horrible situation.

I am not sure if I would call it anger issues or abuse issues. I have known since December he has been very controlling. I told Jeff once Mac got her job that the control would get worse. Then when she got her licenses and the car things became even worse. He is a very jealous boy and his jealousy comes out as control and arguments.

Lemon Lime Soda (any brand) 12 oz
12 oz of tequila
12oz of a frozen limade (any brand)

Mix this together and you have margaritas. The liquid ingredients melt the frozen limade. This is the non strong version. lol You can also mix it with the 6oz frozen limade and just do everything in 6's.

The next one is a stronger version and called Beer Margaritas. It is the best margarita I have ever had. Once again it is either done is 6's or 12's.

12oz bottle of beer (you can use any brand and we have tried several but prefer Landshark)
12oz tequila
12oz limade

We have used landshark, Corona, Bud Lite and Miller Lite.

Please do not drive after drinking the beer margaritas. Or have a DD. I add a tiny bit of water to my glass but not to the pitcher. No one else that I know will do this though. All of my friends love theses and request for us to make them at every party.
