What happened was....I keep my list of subscriptions on a non email basis. Much easier to look up threads this way. I accidently deleted my list. I had to go back on the back tab and make a post on everyone I really wanted to keep. When I went back to post there was nothing much new to read and respond to....

Have you heard form your mom?

Do you think you might can email or pm the pictures to all of us that for some reason or another are not showing up?

It is the weekend. I only have two more days to work until I cruise.

Good morning girls!!! I ahd a very busy weekend spoiling my niece and nephew, mowing my parents lawn, watching the Magic go through the Panama Canal, and laundry!!!!

Selena - I tried to see if I still had the email, but it is gone. Maybe Karen can email it out to everyone. It really is so appropriate for us!!!!

Hi Heidi and everyone I spent the weekend on cold medicine resting and I am finally feeling much better. Although, it seems now my DD may have it. At least I'm better now to take care of her.

I also just watched the hurricane coverage on the weather channel. My DH will be going over to work after it's all over. Just a matter of how long it takes before they can get into New Orleans. That's where his main boss's office is. It's going to be very crazy for us I'm sure for a while. But, I'm just barely affected by all this. My heart has really gone out to all the people in the Superdome and those who may come home to no house. Living on the Texas Coast I know what can happen.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Selena, I have been thinking of you and wondering if this hurricane is going to cause any problems with your cruise. I know your DH has to work hurricanes too.

Karen can you send me the pics LOL I am so curious now. When I get a chance today I will PM you my email addy.

My mom and dad booked another cruise on the 10 day Wonder cruise in September of 2006, better yet they booked a room for me also!!!!! I am SOOOOO excited!!!!

Well they are in Curacau and today they are doing the canoeing and snorkeling. I can't wait to hear stories!!!!! My mom said Curacau is beautiful. When they were headed down to the promenade lounge for their excursion, they rode the elevator with Roy Disney and his wife......how cool is that!!!!!!

Selena~ U R funny!!! You make me laugh. I already told them when they hired me when my cruise days were and that I wanted 10 days off. Yesterday I told them I need to switch days off because I am going to see Journey (in concert) in Sept... Asked for Halloween of for my kids (yeh, right... I am going to be Peter Pan (against my will) and Amber, the baby and the dog are all going as Tinks. I am going to get other daughter to be Wendy and my youngest son will be perfect for the little boy with the glasses and hat (whats his name??!!). My husband would make a perfect Captain Hook, but I know better than to even ask him. Then, on Dec 2 we go to see Carmen the Opera in Tampa.That will be fun too. Then Christmas, then Valentines Day, then the cruise!!!! I am not planning ahead, huh?

Just wanted to say hi to everyone! It's been so crazy here at my house with the hurricane. My DH has been busy.

Oh guess what my DD's team won their first volleyball game.

2 1/2 months is going soooo slow.

Marcie- I have been thinking about you with this hurricane. That's good that she won her first game, that is always so exciting!!!!

I haven't heard anything from my mom about curacau (sp?) I bet they had a lot of fun, I read that it was sunny and hot so I am sure it was a perfect day for them to spend it in the water!!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. We had an aweome time. I have many pictures to show you guys but I have to figure out which ones to show first.

Sandy I can not wait to hear all about your trip!!

Heidi I hope you had a great reunion with mom.

Karen thanks again for being a great friend.

Only thing horrible that happened was on Thursday. At the sail away party we found out Jeff has to report to Mississippi by September 10. This did put a little damper on things. Wanted to scream that it had to happen on our embarkment day and my birthday!!

We were able to have the souffle for my birthday. It was very nice. Palo manager had no problems in letting us come for dessert. I told him I really wanted to come for dessert since ti was my birthday. He kidn of laughed and looked up something on the computer. He laughed again when he told us to ask for him when we come up and said it really is your birthday today. I laughed back and said yes. Very wonderful of them plus they did not charge us. He was awesome. We had a great time.

I think what made it so great was the fact we finally was able to do all the things we wanted to do without feeling guilty....no children to consider.

Thursday, we arrived at the port at 10:20. We were the third family in line to get into the terminal. They were not opened yet. We zoomed right in and wound up being the second family in line for the ship. Of course conceirge was able to go first but still. The time flew by. We struck up a conversation with the couple that was first in line. It was just them as well. Very nice conversation. I was able to meet two of the people on here. I am so grateful for that. It was so nice to meet them at last. We had lunch at BBC and then was able to get the wine tasting and other things taken care of at GR. Made th Palo reservation for my birhtday. Unpacked about 1:20 and was at the Vista Spa for our couples massage at 2:30. Then we found out about Jeff going to Mississippi. Let down big time. We went for a cocktail before dinner and met a nice couple at Diversions. We had dinner and dessert and then watched a movie. Was in bed about 1:00am.

Friday we got up and ate at Tritions. We went to the pool for a while and then the spa again. At wine tasting I meet Suzanne another friend fromt he boards. We sat with a nice couple for the tasting and the 5 of us including Suzanne went down for the beer tasting. Amy and I had the martini tasting verses the beer tasting. We had a great time. It was nice to meet them. Had dinner and then watched another movie. We never left the ship in Nassau.

Saturday, we got up and had our romantic breakfast in bed. Got ready and headed to Serenidity Bay. I loved it there. We were there fairly early and had a great place to sit. The water was just awesome. I pulled my chair down to the edge and read a few chapters in my book. We left and had lunch then headed back to do a little shopping. Went back to the ship to put out purchases up and get change to mail postcards. I had a blast on the banana boat. I rode in front. Next time I will bring goggles with me. We came back and showered and got ready for Palo for dinner. Had a wonderful server, Serena from Italy. Watched another movie and was in bed by 1:00am.

Sunday we got up and had our breakfast in AP. Gave out tips and hugs.

We stopped back at Ron Jon's because we had not bought Erik anything much. We drove almost straight home after that. We left PC at 9:30am and pulled in our drive way at 6:15pm. This is awesome time because we normally drive it in 10 hours. We ate on the road. I think Jeff just wanted to get home and see the kids.

Oh my gosh, Selena. You beat me to a trip report. Are you already home. Make me feel guilty why don't you? Sorry about your hubby's bad news! Hope it didn't spoil the trip and your birthday too bad. Our day at CC wasn't as good as yours. It started with thunder and lightening and us getting kicked off Serenity Beach. But after about a half hour we got to go back.

Hi everyone, the trip was the best. Even 14 days isn't long enough. We really enjoyed riding the waves during Hurricane Hillary. Curacao is a great port. Acapulco was questionable but the cliff divers were great. Manzanillo was absolutely the wort port we have ever been to. We had a very scary experience there. Disney gave us trinkets almost everyday. That was fun. The crossing at Panama Canal surprised us. We really thought that it would keep our interest the whole day but after you go through the first set of locks, you have seen it all. It ended up just another day at sea after that. Never really got sunburned except at CC so that was nice. The weather was perfect. Absolutely perfect. More on the cool side than the hot side and that is perfect for me. I don't do heat well.

Our luggage fiasco was all Disney's fault. The explosion was not from the airport like Heidi thought. They ended up doing our laundry for free. Ever have pressed underwear?? Then the suitcase that had things out of it all over the hallway was because they ripped the suitcase. Guest services came to our stateroom and had it repaired. We didn't think they could and really hoped for a new mickey one but because of the magic of disney it got repaired. DARN! Disney did an excellent job of taking care of us!

Seeing Roy Disney in the elevator was a high point of the cruise. It was just them and my DH and me. We did speak.

Bedtime for me. I did think of all of you while I was away. I had a couple of Malibu bay breezes. Mailibu rum, PINEAPPLE JUICE and CRANBERRY JUICE. What a way to make friends.....over booze.

Goodnight. Good to be home to talk to friends.
