Wow, everybody must have been busy yesterday. Last one to post in the AM and frist to post the next day in the AM. I am guessing Selena is busy packing, but where is everyone else!!!!!

Good morning! Is today Selenas Birthday or NEXT Thursday??? She better be packing or we are all going over to her house to help... pre-cruise party!!!!
I HAVE been busy Heidi and today is a day off for me and my daughter is having major dental work done so I will be taking her and then taking care of her (and the baby) when she is done. Tonight we are supposed to do our bellly dancing at Curves but I don't know if I will make it. I really have been slacking on exercising. If I am going to miss... I NEED to be doing something at home!
Anyway! I t is a beautiful day here in sunny Florida.... wonder how the rest of the week will end up. As I drove over the bridge on my way to work yestreday afternoon, the clouds were SO gray I have NEVER seen clouds that color before. They were as dark gray as you can get before hitting black. The weird partw as there was nothing coming out of them... at that point. I was glad because here in Florida, when it rains, to me, it is MUCH easier driveing in snow. The rain comes down SO fast and SO hard
Well my friends, I will check in during the day. Hope all is well, Heidi hope things are gooing better withyour mom. I am glad she has such a great attitude because attitude can make or break situations like she hit.
OH... I have a question about the BINGO cards.Are they about $35 per card? Is this for the session? day? week? If it is per session... looks like I won't be playing as much BINGO as I planned.

Karen - Selena's birthday is NEXT Thursday and she leaves for her cruise next Wednesday. Is Katrina supose to get close to you?

I am not sure about BINGO, I have never played on the ship before (too busy doing everything else!!!).

I am sure your daughter is very thankful for you taking care of her, when I don't feel well, all I want is to curl up at my parents house and spend the day on the couch with my mom there!!!

Heidi~ I think we will be fine with Katrina but will get alot of rain. The thing is with the rain, we have such big old trees that do not root very deep because of the sandy soil. Last year we had a tree go down (but it broke, it did not go from the root) in our yard, luckily only destroying my arbor (which we got married under) and my garden (and I creied even though I was thankful THAT was all the damage). Whe we drove through the developement, trees had gone down on houses and garages and a couple trees came down from the roots!!! It blew my mind. That was with the "tropical storm" winds. I just cannot imagine what it would have been like if it was indeed a Catagory wind. But we should be fine.
I just got an email that I need to send to your email address so you can see if you can copy and post any of the pics from it. I HAD to laugh when I got this because I thought of all of us on this thread. So if you get an email from a Karen Thacker.... that is me. Open it up and look at the pics. You will understand why I thought of us. I am going to send it now. Rnjoy and I SURE hope you can post these somehow. It would be great if we could put names under the pictures!!! Goodness so much ahs happened inthe last few days. I do not know how to do more thanone quote in a reply. LOL

Bewitched was good. I enjoyed it. I went by myself. It was a little slow, but I liked it.

Skelton Key is wonderful. Very different and strange, but Heidi we really loved it. We normally can figure out the plot within a short while of watching a mocie but on this one neither Jeff nor I could figure out the ending until the writer wanted us too. I will not say anymore about it. Do not want to give anything away. I did not know anything about this movie. Jeff is the one who mentioned it and decided for us to watch it. It is about Hoo Doo not Voo Doo.

Yes my birthday is in a week. WOW. I can't beleive it. LOL I still am only excited about the cruise!! And yes we leave early am next Wednesday.

I still have not packed. Or even thought about what clothes I will be taking. I have never done this before. I am always packed by now. I have no idea what my problem is. I think LIFE has happened. LOL I was thinking last night that I really needed to try on a few dresses and see if they still fit, so if they do not I can go buy a new one! LOL Must get to work on this!! The kids have kept me very busy each night this week. Tuesday we had to meet Erik's teacher. Lat night it was open house for Mac. Today schools started. Tonight I have to go to Curves and go with my dad to pick up something out of town. Tomorrow??? Not sure. Saturday, pedicure and Curves in the am. Erik has football practice in the am on Sat and 2 baseball games in the pm. Then Sunday two baseball games. Tell me when am I suppose to do anything???? I haven't a clue.

Well I am at work. I better get off. Will try to check back tonight.

Oh yeah anyone who wants can come to NC and help me pack!!! I will provide the beverages.

Pixie dust is needed. The doctor wants to move our friend into a nursing home (I think she is only in her 60's), not sure if I should let my parents know that or not...what do you guys suggest? Should I tell them or let them enjoy their cruise and not worry them because there is nothing they can do anyway?

What's my next step? Do I have to go find one for her?

Heidi! I'm so sorry to hear this! When does your mom come back? It might be best to just tell her when she gets home instead of having her worry, especially if nothing else will actually happen until she gets home. You know your mom best, though, so if you think she'd prefer to know now, go with what your heart is telling you. Again, I am sorry about this, 60's truly is not old and I am sending you lots of positive thoughts during this difficult time.

I just got home and I had to share. My DD, Aerial, started 6th grade last week. When I picked her up from school she finally had the news. She made the volleyball team!!!!! She was so happy. She had to work hard for this and she is proud. I took her out to celebrate. Just wanted to share.

Marcie - that is great. Tell Aerial CONGRATULATIONS I played volleyball and I loved it, until I was diagnosed with tendonitis and couldn't play anymore because volleyball really aggravated the tendonitis and a huge bump would pop out of my wrist. Tell her to have SOOOOO much FUN!!!

I will try and do the pictures again later, I wonder if it is something with the DIS becauase the pictures were first there and then a few hours later they disappeared and other pictures in other threads the same thing is happeneing.
