We are still trying to figure out when to move our trip. We are thinking either July 1st or July 15th. July 1st would be cool I think with July 4th. What do you think? It's just a bit higher.

Marcie - I haven't heard anything about what they do on 4th of July, but I bet they do something...atleast Disney style. I think I would do the September 7-17th one (j/k)...okay I would do the July 1st one!!!!

Did everyone make it through New Years Eve? We had fun, went over to my best friends house and drank mint chocolate martini's (yuck) and strawberry pina coladas (yum) and we played a bunch of games.

Karen - what did DCL tell you?

My mom has been very busy bouncing between my grandpa's house and Lou's house. They haven't spent much time alone at their home so hopefully my mom will have time to post since she had to be at home today to get the little girl that she watches.

AND... (sorry) is the Champagne Brunch through Palo (which is totallly booked up and that is why I have to ask you). If it is and IF we can get ressies once on board... do you know the prices for that/
Man, I must sound like a sad story!!! I just want to be prepared with no surprises!
I went and bought 2 pieces of luggage and also bought the Granddaughter 2 more princess dresses. Now she has a dress for every dinner. I will give the new ones to her on Valentines Day and she will go... "OH Gramma!!!!! How beautiful!!! Princess dresses!!!!!!" and then she will twirl!. Cannot wait!
These last 3 dresses have little hoops!!! Just cannot wait! Minnie, Tink, Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and one more fushia dress... omg!! I cannot remember who!!! Oh well, I think my brain is starting to go on Disney Drain!!!!
All I have to do is make the ship and sea shell candies. I am trying to order Mickey Candy molds to do them also. If no.. I will use my Mickey Ice mold. OK, gotta go get my java!! Bye guys!

Sandy, it's okay. I knew everyone would be back eventually. I ended up moving it to the July 15th. The July 1st was already a full ship they said with early dining waitlisted and it would have cost $750 more. The DCL person that my TA was talking to was discouraging the July 1st cruise. Still would have been really cool though. Although not as cool as being on Sept 7th with you monkeys. There is no cruise meet yet for July 15th, but a family that I met on the Thanksgiving cruise is going then. So that will be neat.

Karen, the rainforest room is $15 a day or you can buy a whole week but I don't know that price, I can look when I get home. Palo brunch is $10 per person.

Real quick... one question (maybe two)... Do we all have to fill out a Guest Medical Information form? What if we are all healthy and noone is pregnant? I am trying to figure out what papers I can download and fill out ahead of time. Does anybody know?

Karen - slow down and take a deep breath!! You still have a little over a month until you cruise!!! As for the paperwork when I went with my parents I had to fill out all the forms that my parents did. If it eases your mind, maybe fill out all of them for everybody and whatever you didn't need you can chalk it up to wasting about 5 precious minutes of DISing!!!

I TOLD you I was bad!!!!! But it sure is fun!! I decided to start journalling while I was at work. I thought it would be a great way to catch up on paper so when the time comes to journal the days... I am caught up on the timeline!!!

The Martini Testing was $15 and the beer tastign was less than that. I did the Martini Tasting twice. LOL

Ok I am now finished reading the posts I have missed.

Karen I answered a few questions. Way a little over a month away. I know you are totally excited!!

I love the idea of the candy.

I want to do something special for the gals I am cruising with in April. Does anyone have any ideas.

I have been looking at some cruise pictures that people have posted and I so want to cruise now today this minute!!

I am at 90 days out for my Enchantment cruise. I am so excited but I have to say I have yet to find a board that can answer the questions I have about this ship!! Very aggravating. I love it here where you ask a question and within minutes 5 people have replied.

I tried to do my online registeration last night but until my passport arrives I have to wait. We always have used our BC and DL. But with the new rules going into effect in a year I prefer to cruise with a passport. Only remember US has changed their rules some countires have not and if you do not have a passport you can not leave the ship. That would be a drag.

LuLu where are you girl. We are so excited for you and want to hear all about it. I wonder if you came home with a ring on your left hand???

Selena - On our last cruise, we met up with a few DISers and each of us handed out goodies to each other. We all got T-shirts with a picture of the ship and our favorite character, glow in the dark necklaces and rings, cute bracelet that had martini glass charms (at my $1 store they now have these bracelets with flip flops, palm trees, etc), magnets for our doors....mom what else did we get?

Good morning all.

I know a BIG hit on the Panama Canal cruise was a blinking skeleton pin. Our friend got them on Oriental Trading Co. website. She ended up having to give it to our server and asst server. Everyone was remarking about them. In fact, I am thinking about going over to that website this time around. Heidi, did you mention at the dollar store that they have the glow in the dark bracelets for 1.00? Each pkg comes with 3 linking ones so you can have a 3 bracelets or a necklace or a small necklace and 2 bracelets. That was fun. Shoot, all this talk made me forget to go back to our party store, Heidi. I was going to buy the blinking teeth for everyone. Maybe we can run over there tomorrow. Hmmmm, whatever happened to mine? Selena, I can run over to our dollar store if you don't have one. Oh, I remember. We gave the men pirate eye patches that year, Heidi!

Selena, we now travel with a BC too. We did it for the first time for the Panama Canal cruise. I just didn't feel real great about going there without one. Heidi, you might one to start traveling with one, also. I wonder if Dad can still get you one for cheap?

Marcie, July 15th is probably the right choice. I bet the 4th could be a zoo.
