Just wanted to say hi. Our internet has been down at work all day. I am home for lunch. I'm ready for a good trip report from Lulu!

What has everybody been up to? I have 2 more weekends off before I start working overtime.

Marcie - are you ready for all the craziness? I don't know how you do it!!! I have no idea how much I am getting back since I bought my place in April....hopefully enough to buy a nice king size bed!!

It definitely gets crazy. I get sick of looking at numbers by April and I usually end up doing something very absentmindness every year that makes me laugh Something like send my billls without signing the check or something. Actually I have a funny story that always makes me laugh. I get in the rush mode where all I think about is work. Well we had a CPA that always kept his door closed and at least a few times everyday I had to knock on his door. I work by the back door where we get deliveries so I usually open the door when people knock. So, I was working and the coke man knocked on the back door to get in with our drinks. Well I automatically went to the backdoor and instead of opening it, I was so used to knocking that I knocked on the door. And funnier yet I am sitting here thinking omg what did I just do and he says "come in". I had to control my laughter enough to open the door and face him. OMG yes, I get very absent minded during tax season. But I really do love it. Heidi I'm not getting back too much this year but at least I don't owe so I'm happy. Good luck on getting your bed. And the best part about it when I'm making all that overtime it flies and I will wake up and my trip will be around the corner. So I won't be able to post much at work for a few months. But I will still post. What can I say I'm a DIS addict.

I sure hope Lulu had a good time. Karen, you are next. I know you are so excited now.

I'm baaaack!!
I missed you guys so much!
But I have to tell you I had a fabulous time! New Years' Was AWESOME! Palo was awesome! Yes, I had lobster! And I am in LOVE with the Konk Kooler! BUt just wait!

Day1- at sea
Day2- Nassau
Day3- Castaway Cay
Day4- at s. . . wait, no, it was ANOTHER day at CASTAWAY CAY!!!!

About an hour or so after we set sail on Day 3, Kara the cruise director made the announcement we would be going back for another day as the Captain's present to us!

AND any rentals from Day 3 were free Day 4! So we rented snorkeling equip so we got it free on Day 4!

And here's the best part- we booked another cruise for next New Years'!!!!


I promise to make a full trip report- it may take some time, cause I just got back Wednesday **laaate** and went to work yesterday and today and just started unpacking!

But I look forward to telling you the good (lots) the bad (very little) and the funny!

OMG, OMG, Lulu. I am sitting here with goosebumps. I can't believe the present the Captain gave you. I can't wait to tell Heidi tonight. That would be a dream come true for us. I can't wait to hear more. Please, give us details. We have to live it through YOU!!

Marcie, no one would want me to do taxes. Me and numbers. NO!!!!!! I hate doing my bank statements. Can't imagine more numbers!! BUT, I was a accounting clerk for the District Court for quite a few years. Why I did that??????????

I think our taxes will be so screwed up for the next couple of years due to the deaths this year. I think we will be looking for a CPA. I am sure we will PAY up the ying yang.

We DID miss you and cannot wait for reports and pics!!!! I am already packed for my Feb cruise and a driving everyone crazy asking them questions I already asked before!!! I am WAY too excited!!! Will definately have to take a chill pill by the time I get closer!!!

I went to Bath N Body today and spent my Christmas gift card. They had a sale 5 items for $25. That was such a good deal.

I bought 5 different shower gels since I have so much lotion I don't need any for a while. I got Coco Cabana and Creamy Coconut, I was so excited to see these two because they aren't out often, country apple, warm vanilla sugar, & mango mandarin. I hope I got all those right, I am saying these by memory. Since they are $9 a piece that was a great deal for $25 for 5. I really wasn't sure if I was going to even buy anything but with that sale I jumped at using my gift certifcate. Oh I think I forgot to say I tried on a formal at Foley's too. It was very expensive, and too long because I'm a shorty, but it was very pretty. This was at the mall 30 minutes from here. I will be so glad when Dillards is back open in the mall here so I can keep an eye on the formals. There are about 5 stores open now in our mall. I also bought the DVD Wedding Crashers and the newest Danielle Steele book Toxic Bachelors. I had a fun day at the mall. My DD & DH spent their gift certificates and Christmas money too.

My DH and I went to the mall yesterday to cash in our dinner gift cert at Sam Seltzers. We were very surprised at the amount of people there since The Bucs were playing (they lost). Dinner was pretty good. I got a chocolate martini and then a raspberry one. The raspberry one was great!!! Ialso got the 2 pound prime rib so I can bring in supper when I go to work tonight. My in laws are bringing us down a cow from Nebraska some time soon since the cows here, well.... they sure do not compare. So we will be eating some great steaks and roasts soon!!
My sister works at Dillards in Nebraska. She gets some real nice bargains there. I am going to go to ours and check out red formals.... I am a shorty also, so I have a feeling I will be out of luck. Not many in red I find. For the formal evening on the ship I told my 4 children and hubby our colors are to be Mickey colors... Black, white and red. So we are ALL co-ordinated for a beautiful family picture. The baby has a Minnie Mouse Dress. All we have to look for is little white gloves and we will be set.

LuLu - WELCOME BACK!!!! We missed you. I can't believe you got 2 days at CC, what a great gift!! That is the coolest thing I have heard!!! I can't wait to hear more stories!!!!

Marcie - I bought Wedding Crashers also. I love that movie. I LOVE B&BW's, and at $5.00 a piece that is a great deal. I have a huge surplus of that stuff at home!!!

Karen - your formal outfit combination with your family sounds like a cute picture!!!! Great idea.....C'mon you can't be that annoying to your family, afterall you have a little over a month until you cruise!!! I would be bouncing off the walls at that time too!! Just like you, starting in the summer I will be in like Super planner mode!!!

11)Mickey Waffle Iron, Mickey Pancake Mold and Mickey Ice cube tray ....
ready to use.
12) Mickey outfits and ALL toiletries... bought and packed along with
youngest DD (16)
13)New digital camera..packed and I am reading up on how to use it!
14)Excursions booked.
15)Temporary Itineraries...made.
16)Gift pack Mickey folders for all of us with Mickey pens/pencils (boys)
princess pens/pencils (girls), sticky notes, hidden Mickey clues, Mickey
puzzles... all ready to pass out.
17)Mickey ties for all the guys... wrapped and under the tree.
18)Dates for when to get everyones hair done, pedicures, manicure, etc...
all in the computer to pop up to remind me.
And last but certainly not least...
19)Mini pineapple and cranberry juice and 151 and mini shaker...READY to
GO!!!!

We got the postcard today that I mailed from CC. I can't wait for Aerial to see it. I am at home for lunch. Our internet is still not working right but they've ordered us a new router so hopefully tomorrow it will be working.

I have one to top that off!!! My 2 best friends and I worked at the same place and we had to be a cook for the day (not any of our normal jobs) and things got a little out of hand and we all began to laugh really hard, well let's just say one of us ended up having to go home to change clothes.

Wow you all ahve been busy while I was away.

I am looking at the Flamigo pens from Oriental Trading. Have you seen those. I am about positive I will be ordering them before the week is out. They also have flip flop sticky pads. I think I will have to get those. My friedn who we are going with has us blinking drink glasses. I am looking at some blinking sunglasses for Mac for our Freedom cruise. Woo Hoo one of our group has decided to take her daughter which is only one year older than Mac. They are now emailing one another to get to know each other. I am so glad.

Did you hear about the 15 year ols girl from Duplin, Ireland that went overboard somewhere near Cozumel? Really bad. Just awful!!

I found some cute bags that look sturdy that look like a flip flop. Guess where they came from? Once again OTC.

We already have some real cool canvas bags that has the Enchantment on them and tee shirts with rhinestone Enchantment of the Seas. Oh yes and anklets that Janet made. These are the most beautiful anklets I have ever laid my eyes on. She is just so creative. Like you Karen.

Well I have dinner in the oven and I think I am going to pour myself a glass of wine. It is 5:00 here now...

Wow Selena, such cool stuff!!! I love OTC, they have some cool things that are cheap. The pen/paper sounds nice!!! I love the light-up drinking glasses. My mom and I brought them on my last cruise but they ended up breaking in the luggage so that was a complete waste of $$!!!! Enchantment of the seas - is that the ship that has the "mini waterpark" in the back? I didn't hear about the girl that went overboard, how sad.... I cannot picture falling overboard, did they suspect foul play?

I have a friend going to WDW this weekend. Here daughter is graduating this summer from college and this is what she asked for. A trip to WDW with her mom. I thought that was sweet. She is 22 and they are doing a character breakfast. I gave her all of my books for her to plan by.

I am suppose to go to the mountains this weekend. We are off on Mondya and Tuesday but I think I am going to stay home. It is an all girls weekend. But the lady that has invited us does nto have enough beds and I donot want to sleep on the sofa or on the air mattress and I am the one who always has to do this. Instead I am going to stay home and do some cruise shopping. LOL

THe Echantment was stretched this past year. It does have a water park but nothing like the Freedom is going to have.

Janet has ordered us all the blinking glasses, canvas bags with the crusie ships name on it, made the anklets I mentioned and made us the tee shirts. I am so excited. I am going to order some flashing hair braids for me and some for Mac. I am so excited about it all. I am so excited. I know I have said that twice. LOL
