Heidi, I'm glad you got some sleep. Sometimes I have to do that, I go so much until I'm about to fall out. :cloud9:

Sandy, hang in there, we know you are busy. Hope you are doing okay though. :grouphug:

Selena, it won't be long and you are on holiday right??? :grouphug:

Lulu, How is your Mom? I hope she feels much better. It's not long now before your cruise, I am so excited for you!!! :goodvibes

Jrsyboy, are you staying out of the doghouse???? :dog:

Karen, sometimes I don't talk enough when I should. My daughter has midterms this week too. She was sooo stressed about them and I had no doubt that she would do fine. Now that she's already taken one though she has seen that they are just another test. Sometimes school is very stressful for kids these days. That is so sweet that you are going to go get your Son just when he will need it and spend some time together. :goodvibes

Aerial is finally through with basketball, although she was sad, I was a little happy because now she gets home earlier and I got to spend some time with her last night. We watched a Christmas DVD called Mary Christmas. It was a very good movie. I'm really thinking about going buy a new one today that we haven't seen before so we can watch one tonight. Maybe I will go shopping at lunch.

I, am a total cry BABY!!! I cry at everything.
I cried at my own wedding. Could barely get the words out. Half the people thought it was a touching emotional display, the other half thought I was backing out...

And Jrsy... this all may be a bit to sappy for you, but you make me laugh like no other!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: You are like a ray of sunshine :sunny: in my life and it sure is nice to have a man like you (one that is sensitive, yet has alot of humor and patience AND wisdom... your wife taught you well... KUDOS to her!! hahaha.. just kidding!!). Joking aside, it is nice to have you here too and thanks for fluffing our feathers when we need it!!!.
Thank you...that almost made me cry.

Jsrsy.... I love an emotional guy.... it is so romantic!!
Now, speaking of romance... what is the romance package, what does it include and how much is it? Can you do a Palo brunch instead of dinner? What if they are all booked up already? I need these anwers asap as I am last minute deciding if I should do this. Also... ok... this sounds weird... but if my husband does not want to do the massage thing... I am the only one he cares to let do this.... ( ) can I have my DD come instead? Would they think I am strange? Aside from the fact, that my sister is wanting to get her husband a massage on the island or ship and if there is not much price difference, then she can do this. Once again... can we prebook that and where and what is it.
Heidi... you asked how much privacy... well... I was thinking if we could find a somewhat secluded area, we could give each other a (Bathing suit clothed, pretty much) massage instead of going to the cabana, and we could look out on the water as we are giving the back rubs. No naked stuff on the DISNEY island......my luck Pluto would catch me!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I am REALLY trying how to figure out how to get the best deals so I can get a flippin massage... I know my DH's massage on Castaway Cay will have very little effort.... he will get the deal there and I will end up with the short end of the stick. So I am really trying to work this out so I get what I want... a good massage. Sound spoiled?? It's a Disney cruise!!!

Karen - you should be spoiled, it's your vacation and better yet it's DISNEY!!!! Sorry, but I can't help you with the massage stuff. I have never had a massage or looked into one on the cruise. Maybe if you go farther down the beach you can get more of a secluded area. I usually don't go very far, I get the closest chair and run for the ocean!!!!

Surprise, it's me.

You guys have been talking about being emotional. Well, I was a basket case yesterday. I visited my "step dad" and we both cried. I cried all the way home and through the night. He said the last thing he heard my mom say was "I love you too" to me on the phone. I knew in my heart I was the last one to talk to her. It makes me feel good but sad. Doesn't make sense. Ok, so I cry during movies, I cry thinking about my dog that has been gone for 18 or so years. I even cried last Friday when we were getting our massages. I love it when a guy cries, JrsyBoy. That means to me that they have a heart.

Karen, we almost did the REAS package in Oct of 2004 but backed out of it so we could go on the Panama Canal cruise. Besides that, Heidi booked at the last minute. That would have been real tacky! Can't remember prices. I just remember the couples massage, breakfast in bed, Palo ressies and the flower pedals leading to your bed. I have heard that you CAN bring someone else for the massage.

Marci, boy can I relate to you and your dad. It is a horrible time of year and for it to be his birthday as well. Hugs to you. I am glad that you feel you can share with us. Keeping things bottled up inside is just not good. You could have a meltdown like I did yesterday. I want to decorate my mom's grave for Christmas, too.

Hey JrsyBoy, would your family like to meet somewhere after Christmas with Heidi and my DH and me?? Could be fun AND Heidi and I could rub it in with the rest of the ladies here that we met you. I know....Chedd's. Never been but you have! Just kidding. We could go to a nice place like Del Taco. Only kidding. Any place would be fine.

TGIF!!!! Chris gets his girls this weekend and we are going to see Narnia and the Zoolights at the Denver Zoo. I have neer been so it should be fun...mom, do you want to come?

My mom and I are in the process of making a Denver Broncos blanket for my mom's "stepdad." It is a lot of work so hopefully he will enjoy it.

I am getting a little worried about Selena, hopefully everything is alright.

We were already reported once, might as well make it twice in one month.

Glad it was only for a moment, we almost had to have you committed.

Were we reported? IS that why we were moved?

Between the :rotfl: and :rotfl2: if you go to your "User CP" look on the left side near the bottom. There is an ignore feature. Use it :)
Always happy to help.

I would be much happier if you would just leave us alone. I actually know where that feature is. I guess you do not understand sarcasm. It just amazies me how you are so against this thread but you still follow us around and read it. :rotfl2: You know in my places that is called stalking. Even on the computer.

Karen, I would call DCL if I were you, about it telling you about your birthday. I can see my reservation right now for my cruise in july. So even if it's not time for you to book you should still be able to get to where you book.

Selena, that is awesome that you are through shopping. I am getting close to being through. But I've not wrapped a single gift. :rotfl:

Update on the Nintendo DS game fiasco. Best buy . com sent me an email Friday that said they would not have the game, Animal Crossing, ready to ship until Dec 24th so I would not get it in time and I was free to cancel. Well I was going to cancel Monday, since I already ordered it at gamestop . com too. So today I check my mail and I have two shipment confirmations, 1 from best buy and 1 from gamestop, on the same day. :rotfl: So now I am getting 2 copies of the same game. I did read that I can bring the best buy game back to best buy to return it. Selena, you wouldn't happen to need another game??? Dane told me I should try to find someone who couldn't get there hands on a copy. If I don't find anyone though I will just return it.

I went to JC Pennys today and bought Aerial a sweatshirt and while I was there I tried on 2 ball gowns. I have a problem though, when they fit me they are too long. I am short :confused3 5'3 so I guess I have to get one altered when I do get one.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I am off to make some hot chocolate. :drinking1

Marcie did I tell you I bought a beautiful red formal? I just love it. If I can find the picture I will email it to you. I can't wait to use it in April on the Enchantment.

I do not even know anything aobut that game. I am sorry. I fuess it is a hot one.

Ok everyone I have been gone way too long. :rotfl2:

I have been so busy. At work we have been testing now for two weeks. When I get home it is cook, clean, take the kids to practice and sleep.

Spa~been there done it. Real proper English. We have done several spa treatments. Jeff had the aroma stone massage and I had the hydrating facial, several rasuls in there and a couples massage. While the experiences were nice it was not worth the money. But heck what is a vacation for??? :confused3

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas. I have my wrapping done. We had a nice ice storm here so I was out of work yesterday and again today. I went shopping so now I have more wrapping to do. Not sure if my IL's are having their normal Christmas party so I bought for all those children that might come. Also Jeff's grandfather may have to have surgery so we might not have that get together either. BUT just in case I bought presents for all of those little children too. I hate to go without a present for the kitties.

Well I am off to get my children to school. Yes they have to go with a 2 hour delay while the school system I work in is closed. They both are rather upset at me for this. Like I can help it?? Jeff reminded them this summer they get off 2 weeks before I can take off for the summer. :rotfl2:

Yahoo, we heard from Selena. So you got in on that ice storm, huh? Those must be terribly miserable. I am like you. I don't want the kids to go without a present at a gathering. They would be so sad! Wrapping done? Gee, you don't have to brag about it. I just started yesterday. Oh well, DH will help.

Spa, we did the rainforest and the rasul. Won't do either one again. The scents make me SICK!

Better get out of my jammies. It is time to get the little girl, Graci, that I watch on Tues and Thurs. Today is an exception.

Wow Selena I am so glad you posted. I was worried about you with that ice storm. I bought my last present last night, and I am so glad I am done, the stores were crazy last night. My plans for the weekend are to wrap presents and work on my scrapbook of our vacation. It's supposed to be really cold and rainy this weekend.

Tonight is our office Christmas party and everyone is in a very happy mood. So hopefully we will have a really good time.

That's great about making your step Dad a blanket Sandy. And, that was really nice of him to tell you about hearing the last thing your Mom said. I sent my step Mom a Christmas card, but I never got one back or heard from her. My step sister did send me a card back though.

Last night when I got home from shopping Dane was listening to Christmas music. He bought a whole bunch of new Christmas songs on Itunes and made 2 Christmas Cds for both of us. I have one playing now at work. He has really been in the Christmas spirit this year, which I don't even know if he knows how much he is doing for me by being in the spirit. This first Christmas without my Dad I need a little help from all the people I care about to rub off their Christmas moods on to me.

I can't wait until our party tonight. :Pinkbounc

SELENA MY FRIEND!!!! Glad you are back. I sent you emails at home and at work checking on you... just ignore them now. Figured you were busy.
OK I have decided. .. I am going to do the Rasul once, NOT do the Cabana massage... do the rainforest, but not for the whole week, DO the wrap with half massage ( I am still wondering which half gets massaged!! Top, bottom, left side, right side.... :rotfl2: ). I decided to NOT parasail, but I DID book Banana Boat excursions for all of us. I would like to do Brunch at Palos but will have to wait b/c they are all booked up. We have the baby regisitered and all I have to do is get my youngest DD's braid appt in for the last sea day.
Once again.. was that comedian guy funny or should we see something else? The Golden Mickeys... was that good? I am going to go through and tweak my tep itinerary soon.
I made candies all day yesterday so I would be ready when I get the truffle recipe :confused3 (don't feel pressured... I am just giving you a hard time... if I get it before Christmas, great, if not... I am ok with that).
Heidi and Sandy.... sounds like you may be making that blanket UNDER a blanket with the weather being so cold!!!
Getting things done. Tomorrow I am taking my grandaughter to see Santa. He comes in the neighborhood on a fire engine and there will be a gift there for her (if I figure out which house I am supposed to drop it off at). She will like that. Before we see Santa we will make Gingerbread men cookies.... should be a fun day.
I made her (DGD) a Mickey Ship Countdown poster (I am thinking of taking a pic and sending it to Heidi to post... I am getting so excited!!) to help her understand the days since 4 year old have no concept of time past "tomorrow".
OK guys.... busy today and then I have to go to work tonight, so..... see you later! Me

Selena - glad you posted, you were missed....although we all understand being busy!!!

Karen - I loved the banana boat ride, it was a blast and so much fun. If you sit up front I would suggest to wear goggles because the salt water gets splashed in your face (you can't wear sunglasses because they will be blown off). The comedian guys that I have seen are funny, but I rather see them later at night with the adult humor. I enjoyed Golden Mickeys, Disney Dreams, and Till We Meet Again. Your DGD will have so much fun today.

Marcie - Have a blast at the party, I think it will be a lot of fun.

Speaking of Santa Claus, I have such a cute story (atleast cute to me). A few weeks ago I took my best friend's son to see Santa Claus for the first time because she had to work, will he didn't like it so much and he screamed and cried (he is 2) so Santa asked me to sit down with him and they took a picture. My friend said that is the best/funniest picture ever and that she is never getting rid of it because Elijah is crying in it and I am just staring at him. When she points to santa in the picture she asked Elijah who he was and he said Heidi Claus. My friend corrected him and said Santa Claus and he said, no Heidi Claus....so this year at their house Santa is known as Heidi Claus.

Karen, we are thinking about doing the Banana boat ride too. We are going to try for the fishing excursion but I know it will be very hard to book since it sells out so fast. So the banana boat is our plan B and a whole lot cheaper. Dane would like to parasail, but I'm afraid he would be alone. I'm not doing heights. :rotfl2:

We got an email from our office manager saying we get off an hour early today to get ready for the party. :cheer2:

My mom is terrified of heights and she actually did the parasailing at CC. I know she was scared, but I think she enjoyed it. (not sure if she would do it again)

Hmmm...that would mean giving up the mystique I have so carefully cultivated here...plus, Heidi would then recognize me when I stalk her.

On the other hand...Chedd's, mmmmmmmmmmm...

I think it sounds fun. Now working it into the schedule, that is going to take some effort.

This morning as the light rail train was crossing 17th Street, some guy drove right into the side of it. Not like he pulled in front trying to beat the train and it hit him, he actually ran into it. Not only that, but he then just took off! We sat there on the train in the middle of the intersection until the operator got the OK to move the train. Can you imagine the explaining that guy will have to do (especially if he is married)? "Honey, what happened to the car?"

Actually meet the one true stalker and the oh so mysterious Jrsy Boy....Can you handle giving up your true identity?

I think it sounds fun too. I have neer been to Chedd's so it would be a good first time experience. I think after the holidays we could all work it in sometime.

:rotfl2: OMG, this made me laugh out loud. What kind of moron would do that and then take off? How could he miss seeing the Big White Train with orange stripes that dings and honks while crossing the streets!!!! I am sure that put a little delay in your day, but that is hilarous and worth the sight since no one got hurt!!!

I remember one day riding the light rail when someone committed suicide and jumped in front of the train that was right behind us and another time when someone was trying to beat the light rail and got hit in front of the Auraria Campus (no injuries there either). What is up with people?
