I love the Secret Santa idea! It's been a long time since I've done one, lol!

If it's not too late, I would be in for the card thing, too. PM me w details. I have extra cards around here, so that's cool with me.

Marcie- I"m so sorry about all your difficulties lately. I will be hoping that all works out with yout in laws- it's just been one thing after another and I will be sending all the positive thoughts I can.

Selena- Bahamas sounds great! Remember that warning you gave me about vitamins, etc. so I don't get sick. I got sick! I actually had to go to the doctor because my throat was so swollen I couldn't breathe. My mom and my boyfriend forced me to go and I had to go on these strong antibiotics that hurt my stomach and have my blood drawn for several tests. I'm still waiting on that.

I loved seeing the email pictures! They were so adorable and appropriate, lol!

I am taking it easy tonight. I got home at 5:30, had dinner and I'm just finishing up my teacher stuff, so I can actually rest. I'm forcing my boyfriend to watch a Disney movie with me and I'm making some tea and getting to sleep early!

I have an early day on Friday, too. I get out at 1:20 so I just need to get throught tomorrow. I'm making it an easy day- seniors have a test and sophomores are listening to a story on cd.

Cool, sounds like we have some takers on the secret santa. So far we have Heidi, Marcie, Selena, Lulu and Sandy. I will wait and see if Karen, Marilee, JrsyBoy and anyone I am forgetting is interested. Is it a vote on ornaments or just whatever? Ten or 15 dollars?

Lulu, sounds like you really got sick. Sorry to hear that. You are just too busy and your body is starting to fight it. I will pm you with the info on the card. Thanks so much for doing it!!

Oh it is not my anniversay. We went to Freeport 8 years ago on our anniversary. We got married on Valentine's Day. I had to pick a day I would remember I am horrible with dates....

Selena - HAVE a BLAST!!! I like freeport when we went there on a DCL cruise. We played around at the beach on some hotels property. Very beautiful hotel.

My suggestion for the secret santa is to have a $ limit and then we can buy whatever, but if you want a theme I am okay with that too!!!

Selena - you can sign it "BIRTHDAY FAIRY" or something like that.

I think I will email Karen since I know her email to see if she wants to participate in the secret santa exchange.

yeah we have been talkative lately. I am on another board for our November Freedom cruise and we are on page 2727!!! We get on and use it like a IM.

Freeport is very relaxing. They are having a Jazz festival on the isalnd if we get bored we will make it there....I am sure we will wind up there at one point or another. Jeff can not stand to just lay around during vacation. I love Jazz music so it will be fun.

Geez, I ahve so much to do....I am so bad too....I have not done anything. I am leaving work at 1:30 and I have a list of errands to do. I have 8 places to go this afternoon. My main concerns to finish are buying a good book...thinking of At First Sight by Nicholas Sparks and to get a few groceries for my dad and the kids while we are gone. Goodness I have not packed a thing.....I honestly have been too stressed over Cancun and trying to work all of that out to do anything for the actual vacation... I so need this after this week....

I love the idea of Christmas ornaments. What a cool idea. This way we all will get something we would remember our Funky Monkey got Jucied group at a special time of the year. Are we going for serious nice ornaments or silly pranky ones?

Oh what a wonderful idea. I want everyones address to send Christmas cards too!!!! Oh I am going to have so mcuh fun for Christmas this year. I am done with the shopping for the kids. Heidi did you ever figure out what to buy the girls for Christmas or was it birthday? I say it on the Budget Board thread. I am thiking they were close to E's age. Or a few years younger. All my other gifts are easy ones. Things I will wait to the last minute on. If you guys decided about the Secret Santa gift..ornament or what not...let me know...I will play catchup Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. I will probably go ahead an buy my gift Wednesday so I will not have to get in the Christmas have to buy mode after Thanksgiving. It is so much nicer not to have to worry about presents after a certain time of year.

Marcie remember you can shop online. We are doing this alot more often lately. This might help you find the gifts you need since so many stores are still closed in your area. Just remember to have it sent as a gift so they outside of the box does not show where or what it is. made that mistake a few years back...The package came before we got home and the kids saw it so Mac knew what one of her BIG gifts was going to be!!! Or you can ship it to a friend or neighbors. We are shipping to my moms. Just got the Idogs for the Ipods the kids are getting for Christmas this year.

Wow, everyone is talkative this morning. I like it I vote for ornaments too. I might do some of my shopping while on vacation.

I work in an office, so when I order online I just send it to work. Even if it comes in while I'm on vacation they will just put it on my desk. I've ordered 1 present for my DD already because it is a game that doesn't come out until dec 5th, so since we are limited on where to shop I went ahead and pre-ordered it online. I thought about getting her an IPod this year but I really am not sure how much she wants one. I know what she really wants is a cell phone haha. But my DH and I go back and forth on thinking she's too young. She says she doesn't want a big gift, just a bunch of games for her games systems and clothes. At work we always buy my boss something little and we all put our items together and get him a basket made. I am really thinking of buying him a model of the Wonder.

I want everyone's addresses for Christmas cards too. We are planning on buying cards on the ship.

When I come home I will try to catch up in reading but I am definately in for the gift exchange... and also... were you guys thinkin gof having the gift an ornament? If that was whatI picked up... I LOVE That idea because I ALWAYS give ornaments to special friends so each year they remember me. If I was reading something else... I will find out later. Either way, I gotta go.I just love you guys!!!! I think I will weigh in today and measure. I will give you final results later!!!! (Maybe!!!! Depending on scores.... ) Karen

Just to warn you though, I gave that idea to Stacey also and I think she is going to do that as well.
