Cranberry or Pineapple??

The problem with ours is that we can't even get it to turn on. It keeps going through the booting screens. Couldn't do a scan if we wanted to darn it!! I don't have this laptop hooked to a printer but somehow I am going to print or save your advice. Thanks, Selena.

Wow, you had it pretty rough with the surgery! I have horrible astigmatism as well. It has proved to be a big pain for everything. On top of that I have dry eyes. Contacts kill me and glasses make me sickk to my stomach. Eye doctor doesn't recommend lasik for ME but said he would do it if I wanted it. He told me that I would have to have reading glasses in every part of the house and every car. Don't want that either.

Marci, I would say go for it if the infection is all cleared up. I had it done almost 2 years ago now. I love it. My experience wasn't anything like Selena's. You do have to keep your eyes shut for the first day and I had some cool goggles to wear at night. I was most worried about rubbing my eyes at night. I had pretty bad halos at night for awhile, but they have pretty much gone away. I still have some, but it isn't any worse than it was with contacts. My eyes seem drier now than they used too, but nothing that drops won't fix. I have an astigmatism too. My left eye is worse than my right. I technically still see 20/20, but with my left it is blurrier.

Heidi and Sandy, let me know if you want me to ask Brad if he can look at your computers.

Selena - thanks for typing all that out, I will be printing that and taking it home. Mom, I can print it out for you too.

Cristi - thanks for the offer, I will definitely let you know.

All I know is that the error is something with the IP.

My mom just called, she is having a lot of problems with the internet at her house and now her laptop crashed. It has to do with something with our service, I cannot get online and now both her desktop and laptop she cannot get online. We have no idea what is going on.

Jrsy and Cristi - do you guys use Qwest for your internet service?

I just wrote a long email to this guy I've been talking to, and something happened when i sent it, the email was blank. The email I was replying to, when I clicked on it to read it, it went straight to my deleted mail and i had to go there to read it. Weird. Oh well, there is no way I could duplicate that email. I'm too old to remember. :lmao:

I'm here but for how long? Shoot, two computers for us plus Heidi. It is all internet problems. I really wonder if it is Qwest.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Posting before it kicks me off. It does it about every 2 minutes.

After talking to Qwest for an hour and doing tests it might be that the wireless is drifting in and out on the laptop. That means this needs to go in to. We are not wireless right now and just checking to see if I get kicked off. Sorry to use you guys as a test.

We have Qwest and haven't been having any problems lately.

Hmmm, now that is tempting, I didn't realize Brad was good at computers. I might have to think of an incentive to get him to come over when Chris is done beating on it!!! :cool1:

If you need an incentive for his help, we are looking for some manual labor to help put a front door in. ;)

Well guess what I couldn't view the email I sent, but he could. :goodvibes i'm glad I don't think i could have worded it the same way again and I really wanted him to read it.

I kinda like this guy. :lovestruc

I need opinions. I need to search on the net I guess. Aerial showed me the other day on the top of her wrist, she has a lump. When she bends her hand forward it looks like another wrist bone, under her skin, in the middle of her wrist. She says it hurts her. Today she already text me from school and says it hurts. She doesn't remember hurting it. What could it be? Should I take her to the doc?

It may be a ganglion cyst. I used to get those on my wrist occasionally and did end up asking the doc about it and that was the diagnosis. Check this link:
