Right before lunch today Dane called me. I did NOT want to talk to him. He called to tell me his Mom died 2 weeks ago. Ughhhh, i was shocked.

i'm still scared, and tired. but i want to know what he sent us. Today when I talked to him on the phone he talked about "us" getting a cat. Is that kind of like having a kid? hahaha. Seriously I am just taking it one day at a time.

Marcie - ya, I would say no on the cat. My best friend got a dog with her boyfriend a few weeks ago and now they are broken up. She bought the dog and paid for everything, while he kept the dog...not a good investment on her part! Can't wait to see what he sends you.

Last night on the phone he asked me if he could send Aerial and me a goodie package. So, he went shopping while I slept and he says in around 9 days we will have it.

OMG how very nice!!!! I would be terrified too!! But be open. You have no reason to be scared. You deserve a good guy.

Cristi, don't know if you do anything with Foothills Park and Rec but their computer system was hacked into by someone in RUSSIA. Our credit card info etc has been compromised. Now we have to put a credit alert on our files and cancel our credit card.

This is awful!

UPDATE

Jeff called me earlier today and told me his manager finally called him and told him that he would let him leave after the first tour. We are unsure if he will get to leave on the 18th or if they will ask him to work until the 26th. He volunteered to work until the 26th.

I am unsure if I believe it. Things are so crazy there and they are truly trying their best to work it all out. I could not even imagine the mess they have in Texas.

They started working on my apartment building today. It's probably going to take a long time, so we will have noise and mess for a while. My work is horrible, but at least it's just in one part of the building. There is starting to be more mold and they won't let us go in the area. I am sure it will be loud there too when they start working on it.

Well the lights went out again over the weekend and when i set my clock i set it to am instead of pm. So, my alarm didn't go off this morning. I woke up 5 minutes before the start of work, and Aerial was still sleeping. I just told her to stay home because it's her easy day today and she has an eye appointment at 2 anyway. Ugghh I don't like rushed days.

Had a great Saturday. Spent the whole day with Heidi and Chris. They took us out for breakfast for our birthdays, went to a 30th anniversary party for friends, had dinner out, and a movie at night. Thank you so much Heidi for my Jiminy. Of course, I love him.

Life may be crazy but i'm still trying to stay positive. I finished my class finally and i got an A so I am happy about that. My next class doesn't start until the 21st.

Jeff sent me a beautiful arrangement of flowers today. Which is a huge deal because he did not even send me flowers when I had our son.

Wow, Jeff is a sweetie. The last time Ted sent me flowers was when I was still working at the Courts and that was before the girls were born. They are 28 now. LONG TIME.

Hey Heidi, I was thinking about your credit card and Foothills. Are you going to cancel your card? FirstBank really strongly advised us to cancel it. We, of course, did. Now just waiting for the new one. It will take about 5 days.

Cristi, it sounds like we have a bad wireless modem. Qwest had Ted change channels like Brad said to do but it didn't make a difference. Now we have to convince Qwest. Best Buy even thinks it is the modem.
