We just got back from Albuquerque yesterday. We went down to see my brother and family. It was fun. We of course had pictionary night. It used to be called margarita pictionary night, but this time we didn't have margaritas, we did fruity rum drinks instead.

I have to take Rachel to get registered for middle school tomorrow Where did the time go? It seem like yesterday she was starting kindergarten.
I have to get all of the paperwork finished up tonight so it should be painless tomorrow.

OMG, she is starting middle school.....wow time does fly by. I am guessing she is going to go to the one right up the street from you? The most important question is.......is she still going to sell girl scout cookies. Glad you had a fun time in Albuquerque, did you get to do any tourist stuff?

She is going to go to the school at the end of the street. And yes, we will still be girl scouts for this year at least. The girls were all leaning towards not coming back at the end of last year, but then we did our camping trip. They all had a lot of fun and didn't want to stop, but they do want to do things differently this year. We used to do meetings every other week during the week and I think that got to be too much for everyone. This year we will meet once a month on a weekend for a little longer. I think they will like it better.

I will check in tonight. As of now it is still sunny but that's going to change. My neighbor got a generator. I am sure I will be fine, I have a bottle of malibu, school work to do if I have no computer I'm going to charge my cell when I get home.

Yes we are thinking about you. Is the path showing your area? I know they are saying it could be a hurricane. I have read you have been worried a bit. I am just real slack and have not watched the news.

Great idea about your cell phone. Do you have a car charger? Jeff has this really neat plugin thing to his ac adapter in his car that gives him an outllet for power. I have thought if we ever need to charge or go on the computer when we do not have power we could at least do that in his car. Of course we have car cell chargers thru Jeff's work. They always buy them one and I have the old one that is a motorolla. He now has an LG phone.

Cristi, why do you have to register her? Is she not going to her district school from her feeder school? Maybe things are different out there though. Wow Middle School. Doesn't that scare you? My youngest will be in his last year of MS this year. Now that scares me!! Mac will be a Sophomore!! That scares me even more!!! She looks 18!!

Do not let it scare you. Things will change alot though. This is her period of time where she will start breaking away. You guys have a good solid family life which will be great for all of you as she matures into a young lady.

They call it registration even though they are already registered. We have to go and turn in all of her paperwork, fees (I already paid those on line), get her schedule and have her picture taken. It is a little scary. She has a pretty good group of friends though so I am hoping they stick together and help each other through it.

Heidi you should be getting 2 text messages. One is of Mac's toes, which is old and her toe does not look as good as it did. We took a picture of mine and sent it as well. Mac's are 3 weeks old and mine are less than a week. Different colors but the same idea. Both are hot pink backgrounds. Hers is just the green center with the white petals. Mine are teal centers with yellow petals.

Mac just asked me how I know you Heidi. I was trying to explain it and I just started realizing how lucky we are all to have met on-line!!! We are blessed.

The girl who does my toes hand paints that on. She is good. She has special brushes and uses like that craft paint to do the design. Once that dries she clear coats it.
