We have had to make some very hard decisions today. While MacKenzie is a good girl we just can not trust her to the degree to allow her to take a friend on the cruise with her on her birthday. We gave her some options. One is that she goes with only Jeff and I on her birthday or she could take her brother. We also told her we really did not want to drive to Port Carnveral (10 Hours) for a 3 day cruise. We told her we were willing to take her on a 4 day on Carnival out of JAX which is only 6 hours away. She decided not to go with on a cruise for her birthday. I am almost heartbroken. I am afraid she will change her mind but Jeff is on the phone making changes now.

Yeah on your feet it hurts. Or so I have heard. For the time being, I have decided I do not want another one. Jeff still does but I really do not want him to get another one. Nothing against them, I just am happy with mine plus I am old.

lol I am really thinking tequila. lol I have no clue. But the tequila I had tonight was so good I was sipping it. I did not want to waste it in a mix. And it is a cheap tequila!! lol We always but Cuervo Gold but I read on a thread that Margaritaville Tequila was good and smooth. That stuff is great!!! I put it in a mini martini glass and sipped it.

Wait you can not get a tat!!! Will it be ok to get in the pool by the time you go to Vegas???

I need some advice.

Mac still wants to go on her cruise. Well Jeff booked another cruise in place of her cruise. BUT we have not cancelled her cruise. Jeff said for me to take her on the cruise and he will stay home with Erik.

Here is the problem with that! We are booked on a 3 day cruise out of PC. PC is a 8-10 hour drive. Yes I will have to drive it. Just cheaper this way and believe me we can not afford her cruise and the one Jeff's booked with air. I can drive that distances and I know the way. NO biggie but who wants to drive that when you are coming home? Not me!!!

I have tried to convince Mac she would enjoy the beach and I would let her take a freind to the beach. Can you believe she is not buying it? lol Cruise or beach? Cruise with mom or beach with mom and friend? lol Anyway she thinks it would be way cool to go with me.

She has been bad but not bad enough to take the whole cruise from her. I feel like she still deserves the cruise.

I can change the 3 day cruise to a 4 day cruise out of JAX. Jacksonville is only a 6-7 hour drive depending on when I hit rush hour at. That drive is much more doable.

The problem is the cruise is more but then it will only be 2 verse 4. Plus the cruise is longer. Meaning I will have to take 3-4 days off.

Then another issue, just what am I going to do in the evenings by myself? I told Jeff I would go to the shows and do things like that. I do not mind really being by myself, I just do not care to attract the unwanted attention of any single or not single males out there. I mean I will be alone. I donot want to have to worry about someone following me or trying to drug my drink.

I can not invite anyone from work to go with me because they can not take off during the school year. I can because of my position.

What do I do???

I really think I should do the Jacksonville cruise.

Here is another point of view. While the Monarch is 3 days it is also less money. It was booked far enough back that the fuel surcharges are very low. We currently have 2 rooms booked and if I cancelled one room with the deposit on that room added to the other and my credit from my RCI credit card that cruise would be paid off.

The Carnival Fascination for 2 people gty oceanview room is $950. A deposit of $400 would leave me owing $550.

Is it worth that for the extra drive of 2-3 hours?

I could go on the Fascination and have to pay more and have less drive and an extra day at sea. Or I could go on the one booked not owe more and just drive half the way home and take a break for the night and then wake up and drive the rest of the way home the next day. I would still use the same amount of time from work.
