Heidi, how is Chris taking it?
I had a very nice weekend, but I am very tired. I let me myself do a lot since I am off on Wednesday and then of course off on weekends again.
Saturday after I got off of work, my friend from high school and her daughter came over. Her daughter is a sweet, cute girl. She will be 16 next month. 16 years ago I was there when she was born and holding that sweet baby.
So, anyway, Aerial, and I went to eat with them and then came back to my house and had drinks and talked, and laughed all night. It was like we were young again. I think the girls reallye enjoyed watching us and joining in our conversations. She is still here until Thursday so I am hoping to get at least one more chance to hang out.
Yesterday we went to the beach. We couldn't leave until afternoon when my friend Lauren got off of work, but it was nice to get outside for a while. The sun was out, but it was pretty windy and cool. I did take my shirt off for maybe an hour with just my bikini top on, but my pants never came off, way too cold. We took a LOT of pics. I just haven't looked at them yet.
I found out Saturday night that my favorite band, Lifehouse announced more of their tour. I was disappointed because Texas wasn't on the original schedule. But, they are now!!! So, I told Aerial to ask her friend if she wanted to go, in June, and we are going to make it a few day trip. The broadway musical of Sweeney Todd will be going on at the same time and they both love that movie. So, we will go to the concert 1 night, Sweeney Todd 1 night and then catch an Astro's game before we come home.
Wow, I haven't written this much in a while, can you tell work is slower. I finished my last return on Saturday so now I am doing payroll taxes. We should be off by noon tomorrow and not have to come back until Thursday.
