You guys have been chatty today. I am surprised.

I have been so lazy that I am getting bored!! Very Bored!!!

Yesterday I woke up and went to do the grocery shopping. I figured if we wanted something for lunch I better go shopping. After lunch I took a nap. Then woke up and we went to buy ribs and rent a movie. We drove though because any video rental place is over 10 miles from our house. Jrsy that is one way. lol Anyway, we could not find a movie. Came home and read and had dinner. Very boring.

Today I woke up really late, 8:03. I never sleep that late but I have been taking Zytec and that stuff makes me sleep! Took Erik to get a biscuit and went by to get a few more things from the grocery store. I had to pick up some sodas and water for the OuterBanks trip. I have clean a bit and played on the computer. I am so bored!!! It is cold, rainy and over all nasty so I am too lazy to go anywhere much. lol

I have to go to sleep early so I can get up early for Mom's surgery tomorrow. I have to leave no later than 7 :woohoo: so I can be at her house at 8 and then take her for her surgery. I know I am going to be exhausted by the evening. Not sure if I am going to be back in time to go to dinner with my friends.
 
Marcie, I just thought of you while I was eating a 2 point dessert. I have been putting off eating these but I broke down today and made one. You take a chocolate rice cake (I used a chocolate peanut butter one) and mix FF cream cheese with FF Whip topping as your base on the rice cake. Then top with fruit, I put 4 tiny slices of banana and a half of a strawberry with a drop of chocolate milk/ice cream syrup. Very good with only 2 points used. I made this one up. It is my own recipe.

Last year we used the Lightly salted rice cakes, FF Vanilla Yogurt for you topping, blueberries and strawberries with a garnish of a drop or two of garnola. Excellent for 2 points.

These are very filling. I find them better than any 100 calorie dessert of WW dessert you can buy.

I didn't even realize that they have choc rice cakes now. I am a weird one, but I like rice cakes.

I am stiff and sore and tired. We spent the day ripping up carpet pad and pulling staples. Come to find out the house that we inherited has hardwood floors under the carpet. We were going to lay new carpet but decided to refinish the hardwood floors. Getting close to getting if on the market, thankfully!
 
Selena - those look so good, I am going to have to try out your rice cake recipe.
 
Jrsy - we are staying at HOJO's. We got it for $59/night with an entertainment book discount. You can check to see if the days you are going, if you qualify. The online code is SD50. If you have any problems or questions there is a very nice lady on the Disneyland Forum that can help you. Her name is Lorealle, she works at HoJo's.
Thanks for the info, but it looks like we are staying at the Ramada Maingate, so I will be doing my TripAdvisor research. My MIL is planning the trip, since they are paying for it, and I am her adviser, which is kind of funny since I have not been before. I guess it is because I am such a meticulous planner.
 
Jrsy, I am hooked on Trip Advisor. They are great for Mexico! I learned a few good tips off of Trip Advisor.
 
Jrsy - you have to eat at the Blue Bayou!!! The food is expensive and not that great, but the atmosphere is so cool! (Kind of like Casa Bonita!!!) BB is inside Pirates. Get an early lunch reservations and show up early and ask for waterfront seating.

Another great trip that I learned is for Fantasmic (in my opinion, much better than WDW's version). You can get a GREAT spot for fantasmic showing up about 20 minutes before showtime. Head to the center of the Rivers of America and stand behind the tower that is not lifted off the ground (there are three total, you will see the ones on the left and right in the air and the center one on the ground). No one stands there because they think it will block their view. Well, about ten minutes before showtime, that tower lifts up giving you the perfect view right in the center of the river. Everyone runs to get a spot here after the tower goes up. Just be sure to get there BEFORE it rises and you will be shocked at how great the view is.
 
How is everyone????? I have been off the Dis for about 2 months -- the move, without Internet for weeks, then without my computer, DH out of the country (he is going back to England in a couple of weeks), my computer is in a weird area -- new place for me to get used to! LOL! I need to just start using my laptop so that I can be anywhere in the house! LOL!
 
Yes, they made us go to the Community board. I pm'd everyone so hopefully they find it.

Did you watch the entire Superbowl last night? The 4th quarter was excellent!!!! That is all I got to watch because I was busy cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry. In between loads and everything else I always managed to make it to watch the commercials!!! Not very many good commercials this year.

I've lost 2 pounds now!!!!! :banana: :banana: :banana: :cheer2: Tomorrow is a weak and I get my flex points back just in time for Friday. haha. Selena, thank you for sharing the rice cake recipes! I'm really liking everything you suggested so far. Oh I HAVE had one girl at work ask again WHY I'm doing weight watchers. I told her I'm just trying to eat healthier, which I'm supposed to because of my pancreas anyway.I don't want any flare ups.

Last night we finally got all the invitations finished and I am finally registered!! My sister kept bugging me that I had to register somewhere else besides the Disney Honeymoon registry, so I finally made it to Bed Bath and Beyond. One less thing to do!
 
Good morning everyone. Headed out of here to weigh in. It won't be pretty. I have been busy making all different kinds of "gooey cakes". So far chocolate chip and pineapple. Guess I better find better things to do with my time than fill it with cooking.
 
Ok, so I haven't been good. I gained 2 pounds. How embarrassing.

Had a good day with the grandkids.
