I am super busy(end of semester papers and projects for grad school, plus grades for *my* students in school, etc.), but I just wanted to pop in and say hi - esp. w our ornament exchange coming soon! Mine's been sent and I received mine on Thursday! I can't wait to open it! I haven't been able to read back, but I hope you are all doing well. And don't worry, Selena- no trees here either!

Good morning! Guess what, Shawn came over last night. Well, I had changed my desktop background to a picture of Aerial at Downtown Disney with a Christmas tree in the background, the time we went after Thanksgiving. He asked me where it was and then we started talking about Disney. OMG he actually said that he didn't know anyone could love Disney as much as him. He doesn't know that we all exist on the Dis. Anyway, we watched I know Pronounce You Chuck & Larry. It was funny. After he left Aerial pretty much told me he was perfect for me. She said, Mom he LIKES Disney. And, he's really nice to her, she really likes him. I just told her not to get her hopes up we've been hanging out for what 3 months and it's still on a friendship type basis. Now, I'm tired I couldn't fall asleep because I took a nap yesterday. But, only 2 work days and then I'm on vacation.

Marcie - I watched Chuck and Larry too this weekend. That was a funny movie. We also watched Transformers and Mr Bean's Holiday. It was a fun movie weekend! Wow a guy that actually admits to liking Disney alot, he is a keeper (friend or otherwise!!). It is good that Aerial likes him too. I am jealous, only 2 more work days? I have 4 this week and then my mom and I are going to go look for invitations on Friday.

My mom, dad, Chris and I went cake tasting this weekend and we found our cake. We are both so excited. Here is a pic of our cake:

The bottom layer is going to be a Neopolitan cake with chocolate cake, strawberry filling and white cake. The middle layer is going to be champaign cake with Bavarian creme and fresh strawberries, and the top layer is going to be carrot cake for Chris and my dad!!!! We are going to try and get them to drizzle milk chocolate on the strawberries as well.

How was everyone's weekend?

Busy!
Bought a tree on Friday night, decorated it on Saturday night, Alex had rehearsal for the Christmas program at church on Saturday morning and the performance itself twice on Sunday morning (it was called Bows of Holly and he was in the choir), put up some of the Christmas lights outside, but did sit down to watch the entire Giants game.

Selena is the last to get her ornament. Once she gets hers, we can OPEN!!

I am tired. Went shopping with Stacey and kids and then did my own. The drivers are already CRAZY. I am happy to be home. Tired but happy.

Bad day for me. I do not feel grand and I think that is why I am in such a bad mood.

I have seen that movie. Jeff rented it for us Thanksgiving weekend.

He hasn't meet all ofus crazies!!!! LOL!

We had a busy weekend -- 16dd (Samantha) had 3 performances (she is in the teen performance group at her theater/dance/music school). The kids really enjoyed last nights....It was at Six Flags and since we all have season pasess...... Jona the younger 2 came out there and we spent about 4 hours riding rides and watching shows.

Selena, your package is in the mail. Everything is cool. I just want to tell your Santa that the date was set to open sometime before the 14th so Cristi could open before she left. We are all on target! I loved, loved the cruise ship cake. How appropriate since their honeymoon will be 15 days cruising!!
