Jrsy - Glad your WALK was okay!!! I didn't remember that you walked to the light rail station!! Which station do you walk to? My friend and I are going to celebrate her son's 4th birthday at Chucky Cheese and then we are going to Blondies that is right off of the Englewood station.

Oxford-City of Sheridan station. Yick! Chuck E. Cheese's! I am so glad to be beyond that age with Alex. We now take him to Red & Jerry's instead. Let me know how you like Blondie's. I was only there once and wasn't too pleased. Hopefully it has gotten better.

I have been to Blondie's before, we went there before the Bronco game. Not much of a selection, but I did like the 2 for 1 on your first drink. I was told to stay away from the free food they have during Happy Hour so I didn't get to try out the food. A lot of different people there!!!

Good Evening everyone.

I finally finished up my reading.

Cristi that was entirely too late for Kinkos to be calling. I would have had to make a complaint if I were you. I have a difficult time getting back to sleep if I am woken up. And believe me I am asleep most nights no later than 10:30.

No mail for me yet. lol I did finally get my ebay purchase after 3 weeks. The first one was lost so she resent. I was much more careful on opening that package. I had my kids check out the return address. I gave them so cities and they said no it was from California like it was suppose to be. lol

Tomorrow is Jeff's surgery. He is nervous. He had to go off all of his medicine. He take allergy meds. He has had a headache for two days and he can not take a thing. I have been using some Elemis Instant Refreshing Gel on his temples, forehead, neck and shoulders. I also gave him a massage thinking this would help a bit. He is freezing. He has a blanket on him and the gas logs are on high and the fan is going to put the heat out of the fireplace. I am burning up. Poor baby. I will be glad when it is all done tomorrow.

I plan on coming home after and putting a pot of homemade soup on to cook for dinner. Then I am cleaning my nasty house. It did not get cleaned this weekend since I was sick. Of course no one else is going to do anything unless I make them.

Not much longer and Cristi will be on vacation.

Marice I would never have made it with only 3 hours sleep if I had been drinking. Good for you. So did you meet the friend? You did not say anything about that. Does Ariel know about the computer?

I will try to remember to check in tomorrow sometime to let you guys know all is well here on the East Coast.

Selena, somewhere in all of this I missed what was wrong with Jeff. I hope everything goes well today and he feels better.

I was pretty ticked at Kinko's. Brad answered the phone though and I think he was so asleep still that he didn't say anything to them. I will either be going in tonight or tomorrow to take the disc with the pictures and I will say something to them. Luckily it didn't take me too long to fall back to sleep.

Jacob hit his head at daycare yesterday on the concrete wall in the gym. He has a big goose egg on the back of his head along with a little cut. He is doing well though. I did wake him up in the middle of the night though to check on him.

I am still not recovered. I need the weekend. I am too old for this. I think having a cold AND getting 3 hours of sleep one night has done me in. I haven't even worked out, just been laying around. Hopefully after I sleep late on Saturday I can clean my house and get back to my routine.

Yes, I did meet him. My friend had told me months ago that he was coming home from Iraq and she wanted to introduce us. Well when it came close to when he was coming home I kind of chickened out. I didn't want to be put on the spot to feel I had to like him or that he should like me. I hate being fixed up. So, I told her to let him settle in and give me a few months and that I was sure eventually I would meet him anyway since we are friends. So, it didn't really feel like a setup on Monday, I really didn't expect anything except to see my friend. But, yes he was very nice and I was pleasantly surprised that I did like him. Guess he liked me too, he did NOT want me to leave. Which is how I ended up staying out until 3. I haven't heard from him but at least we had a fun evening. I'm sure eventually I will see him again since we have mutual friends.

My Uncle's wife who was in the ICU died this morning. I feel for my cousins who just lost their Mom and for my Uncle. I know the pain.

Yes, it was Cancun -- the pics were taken at the resort where we stayed. Dreams.

DD and I were laughing that some of the pics looked *fake* like the water had been added later. Most were the ones where the sun is up and the water is SO BLUE. But, Cancun is Carribean water so it really is that pretty! LOL!

I hope what I said did not sound insulting. That one picture I copied and replied to is just so amazing done. Every single bit of it is so good. The water was perfect. The angle in which your daughter is being thrown or held is awesome. The lightening is wonderful. Over all I do not think I have ever seen a better picture. Were the pictures done by someone at Dreams or your family.

OK update of Jeff.

He did well. Poor baby was so out of it when it was all done. I remember how you normally do not remember anything for at least an hour after so I have had fun with him. lol I know that was mean.

They did stretch his esophagus a 1/2 inch which sure sounds like a heck of a lot to me. They also did some biopsies (sp) in his stomach. We should have the results in 3 weeks. His colon looks good. Poor fella has slept most of the day since coming home.

His headache is gone. We think it was from dehydration. He said as soon as he got the IV with fluids his head felt much better. Poor guy.

I have to take him to get some medicine.

Took my car to the bodyshop this morning for the to have the windowshield fixed. I have to pick it up shortly.

Selena - glad Jeff got through it okay. Poor guy, sounds like he needs some recoup time, is he taking tomorrow off too?
