Selena - just like my mom said, we are going to FL to help out Chris's mom. A few weeks ago she had a stroke and was diagnosed with diabetes. When she was released from the hospital she fell through the floor of her trailer. So everyone is going out to pitch in. Then because everyone is out there we will be having an early Thanksgiving full of cuban dishes. Our plane takes of this afternoon and we get back on Tuesday afternoon. We are staying with Chris's sister's, they live in Pt St. Lucie with is an hour north of West Palm Beach. We get into FL at 10:30 tonight, then pick up our car and drive an hour....it is going to be an extremely long day/night.

Where the heck is Jrsy & Cristi?

I've decided for Christmas I am getting a picture taken of Aerial and Me. It will be the first time since she was a baby that just the two of us had a picture taken like that. She was really not for it at first, but I told her she can have one of just her and she could wear jeans and whatever, with her sketchbook and pencil. An artist shot. So, I think she's more excited. I will give my step-mom and mom an 8x10 of us and then I will get one of us and one of just her. That's about all I can afford, but I think it will be a good present. We had a family picture from our cruise with the ex in it but now that he is gone, the pictures were taken off my parents walls. So...they want replacements. I just have to figure out what we will wear in the pic of both of us. And, I'm getting my brows and a facial a few days before, and my hair colored and cut, etc. etc. I was going to just go to sears but I talked to this photographer, he says it will be about $110 for just those 8x10's I didn't think that was bad. I spent $200 on pictures on our cruises. I really want a good Mother Daughter picture that shows our bond. Know what I mean? Any suggestions?

Marcie, I love the picture idea. Perfect and quite honestly, I think the price is good and you will like the quality better with the photographer than with Sears.

I was going to get Aerial Playstation 2 for Christmas but she came home from her Dad's the other day with one. Someone had given her Dad a broken one and he fixed it. He said it may break again but so for it's running great. So, she says she doesn't want a new one if that one will stay working. I really wanted to get her a new computer, her's is a hand me down and about 6/7 years old. I could 1. buy her one for $400 or less but have a not so good computer, 2. buy her one for $500-600 and have to put it on a credit card. I could pay it off through tax season, or 3. not buy one Maybe they will have some good sales after Thanksgiving. A Playstation 2 is only $129 so she could almost buy one with the money she gets for Christmas if that one breaks.

wow, you do have some decisions, Marcie. Christmas at her age has to be hard. I remember that with my girls. Now I am going through it with Heidi's girls.

I'm here, I'm here. I had actually posted a reply a couple of days ago. Nice and long detailing the events of the last week, but before I got a chance to post it my browser shut down. I haven't had a chance to get back on since. Basically, it has been busy around here with Halloween, Brad's bday, Rachel's b'day party, a family dinner (w/inlaws) for Brad's B'day over the weekend and work.

For Brad's b'day we both had the day off and went to see the Titanic exhibit. It was really cool. Then we went to the Rivera for lunch. Hadn't been there in many years.

Wedding plans are coming along slowly, I guess. I will post some engagement party pics, soon.

We are 95% sure we're going with sunset tones- lilac and fresh-rose pink (medium shades, no jewel tones and no pastels) with lots of white, some black.

We are 95% sure we're doing a WDW wedding and we are looking at 2009- fall is my preference but we will see.

It's kind of hard to know where to start. We can't put a deposit down yet, so we don't want to contact DFTW. Plus we have about 2 years to go. I am not sure how many people will endup going, so it's confusing. We definitely want an IllumiNations dessert party.

I really want to get a dress first so I'm hoping to focus on losing about 20 lbs. then I will go dress shopping. I think once I have a dress, I will have a basis for picking other things.
