Cranberry or Pineapple?? Part 2

Selena I am off too and plan on doing the same thing. I want to go to Hobby Lobby to look at Christmas trees. It's by the big mall 30 minutes from here so I'm leaving early hoping there's not a lot of traffic and hoping to be home before noon. I'm going to stop at our favorite sushi restaurant since it's over there too and get Aerial some sushi for dinner. Then my plan is come home eat lunch and head to the gym. By the time Aerial gets home from school I will be home for the day.

I survived the mall. In one piece too!! lol

I bought new Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas flags for my flag poles. I also bought some goodies for MacKenzie's stocking. I forgot to take pictures to Walmart to have copied. I was ticked at myself for that!! We have 3 Walmarts in the area and the one near the mall has the machine I want to use. I also found a new dress for my NYE cruise. It is real cute. I will try it on later and have Jeff take a picture. I think it is cute and sexy all at the same time. lol Let me see what else did I buy. Oh Mac some makeup from Victoria's Secret.

MacKenzie did well at the mall. She had $40. She went to Aeropostle and bought a sweather, 2 long sleeve shirts and a mid lenght shirt all for $41.10!! I was proud of her.

Erik bought a new skate board with his birthday money. We gave him some money and he bought or is buying an Itouch. We bought it and he is paying us back. He owes me around $264 still. lol He might have it paid off before next year. lol

I found some really cool nail files at Bath and Body Works. They are all pretty birght colors that are glittery. Very cool. I bought several for gifts.

The two that I found were in Cherry Hill and Lambertville. If you have not done a trip to Lambertville/New Hope, I highly recommend it and the brewery tour would be just an added bonus. If the leaves are at peak colors, driving along the Delaware River on either the NJ or PA side is just stunning. Lambertville is on the NJ side and New Hope is on the PA side, right across the bridge from each other.

The rest of you should take a lesson from Lulu; instead of wondering why I was MIA, she just posted about beer and knew that would bring me out of hiding.

Sandy, I am glad youlike my ideas. I could never afford to rent out a place with a castle view for dinner, but lunch is so much more affordable. I hope no one minds. Heck, It's California Grill! How could anyone mind? (I hope)

Lulu, I agree with Sandy, lunch sounds great. I don't think anyone will mind.

I survived my shopping day too. I bought a Christmas tree, and got a little bit of Christmas shopping done. I am about half-way through shopping now. I need to buy wrapping paper thought!! Aerial was happy I brought sushi home. I spent the afternoon at the gym, had enough time to do the treadmill, the machines AND the hottub & steamroom. I got home about 10 minutes after Aerial. It's been a nice evening spent with her.

Lulu, we used to have a Hobby Lobby about 5 minutes from me, but, when the hurricane came it was destroyed. They still haven't built another one. So, gotta go 30 minutes away to go to it. Another thing that was never replaced was a book store. There aren't any book stores here now. We have to go to the one by Hobby Lobby. I really wish we would get one soon.

We got our flu shots this morning at work. I hope it doesn't get too sore.

Ted was off yesterday, too, so we went to the movie and saw American Gangster. At first I thought it wasn't my kind of movie but I did get into it and enjoyed it. Went to Red Lobster last night for dinner.

Knowing that it was Veterans Day and many people had it off, I was shocked that the traffic was perfect around the mall. I know there were lots of sales even. Sounds like Mac got some great deals at Aeropostle. [B]Happy Birthday to Erik!![/B]

It sounds like all of you are having a good week so far! Monday afternoon I took the kids to see the Bee movie. They enjoyed it -- I got sick feeling since the way they do animation now is too *real* and it felt like an IMAX movie to me......

I spent yesterday afternoon picking out all the tile for the house -- floors, backsplashes, showers, tubs, etc...... I was exhasted afterwards! LOL!

Now I need to pick out plumbing fixtures.... UGH!!!!

I had to find some kind of sushi that I liked because Aerial likes it so much. It's a real treat for her. I do enjoy it now but I can't eat it too often, for a while we were eating it once a week.

Wow, I disappear for a while and everyone else comes out to play....are you trying to tell me something.

Cristi - I loved the pictures of cosmo and how he matched Jacob in his camo and Rachel's halloween costume. Glad he is having a good time over there and has some friends to keep him company.

Selena - I would like to check out the board your friends started so I will shoot you an email. I must have missed what happened to the golden but hugs to you because I know how hard it is to do that. Are you feeling any better?

Marcie - I love the idea of the pictures for Christmas. I think it was a fair price and you should go to the photographer. I got my first taste of the play station 2 and now want one!! Chris's nieces had me playing Dance Revolution with them and it was a blast. It was a great workout!!

Okay the pickle guy is totally freaking me out. He is so weird!!! Thanks Jrsy!!

We got back yesterday afternoon and of course they lost our luggage and only our luggage. There were several other people who traveled with us and they all disappeared one by one. The rep told us it could have gone to either Long Island, Vegas, or stayed in Tampa. We were exhausted and of course they found our luggage and called us at 11:00pm to tell us they would be dropping it off in a few hours. Did they not realize we had been up since 4:30am Eastern time and we needed our sleep!!!! Oh well atleast we got it back!!!

I got my first ever spider bite, it is disgusting but now healing. Lots of hard work done. 10 of us were staying in a 3 bedroom house sharing 1 bathroom...let's just sum it up to say I got to know Chris's family extremely well!!! I never once got to see the beach or the ocean the entire time we were there, but I did see Walmart a ton of times!!!

I went to the mall at lunch today. The plan was to run in to Sears, pay my bill then head off to Dillards to buy some makeup. Well, I got into Sears and they had all these cute festive looking things. I started trying on clothes and ended up spending my whole lunch hour there and I bought a dress and a shirt. I can't wait to wear my new dress to work tomorrow. Talk about impulse shopping. And now I have to go back to the mall again to get my makeup.
