We have to leave in about 45 minutes to go for my LASIK surgery. I am a little nervous. My stomach has started doing flip flops and my hand is tingling. Hopefully they give me the Valium as soon as I get there.![]()
Cristi you will be so glad you decided to do this. I hope all goes well for you. They gave me a Valium and I kept on telling Jeff this drug is not working. He kept on saying back to me, yes it is. lol
My eyes burnt like some one had taken a mixture of sand and hot sauce and rubbed into my eyes. But after 2 days I was a little better. It was fun being at home by myself and not being able to open my eyes due to that feeling. I learned how hard my walls are and how hard my head and toes happen to be.
That kind of freaked me out a little. We got home about 12:45 yesteday, I had a sandwich with my eyes closed and then slept until almost 5 pm. Even after that when I was up I kept my eyes closed a lot or squinted my way around. My eyes felt better with them closed. My left eye in particular had a very sandy, slightly burning sensation. This morning it is pretty much gone, although my right eye seemed to have the sandy feeling when I first got up. I have to leave in about 30 minutes to go for my first post-op appointment. I have these cool shades to wear in the sun.
Right now my right eye has been all red for the second day and I'm afriad I have another eye infection, which means no contacts for a week again if it is.
