Wow, I've been so busy at work, I worked overtime Monday & last night. But, wanted to pop in and say hi. Jrsy, thank you for the Christmas card. Okay back to work, I really want to finish this.

I donated blood this morning and Tammy is coming down to donate later this morning, then we'll go to lunch.

We decorated our tree last night while watching Elf.

Yes I did open my Secret Santa and thank you Heidi. I am sure you have read my latest email. lol

I want everyone to know when I got my package I did not even think and I read the return address. At first I was so upset with myself but then I realized that there were 3 people from Littleton doing the exchange. lol

Heidi was my SS. I love my ornaments too!! I put them on the tree with my Freedom ornament.

I had a friend send this to me and I thought it was cute.

I am at home with MacKenzie she has a sick headache. I think she has a sinus infection. We go to the doctor at 4:10.

Jrsy - You gave me a recipe last year for a dip in a bread bowl. My sister LOVED it and asked if I could make it again for Christmas Eve. Do you remember what recipe you gave me, if so can you please repost it? I tried skimming through the pages but didn't have any luck finding it. I do remember cheese and the bread bowl and maybe salsa??? I don't know....HELP!!!!

Just got back from our Christmas Party. It was fun, we went to Simms Landing and paid $20 for a buffet that wasn't all that great. We did a white elephant exchange and it was so much fun. Lots of good laughs. I had a make-up brush kit, then a fountain, and then ended up with a coffee cup that plugs into your car to keep beverages hot. I don't drink coffee and I don't drive far enough to make it work so maybe it will work for Chris. I doubt he will use it because it is pink!!!

That sounds fun Heidi. I like White Elephant exchanges. We don't buy for each other here at work, instead we are each required to buy a kids gift for Toys for Tots and our office donates them. I bought a baby gift this year. It would be fun though to do something like that white elephant at our party.

Mac is ok. She went to school today but when I got home she said her head hurt all day long. I know for a fact it did not hurt when I left this morning. I made sure of it before leaving her. She is lying down now.

My mom says hi. She doesn't have a computer because they are painting that room but she wanted to make sure I tell you all hi. I went over there to "help" (aka eat) the party mix and peanut brittle. I finally got all my shopping done and have just a few left to wrap.

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless has an Adopt-a-Family program which our company has been involved with for the past couple of years. We will be delivering all of the Christmas gifts to the Coalition office today.

I used watched Oprah and she made Martini's. Here is her recipe.

Pomegranate Martini​

• 1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice
• 2 oz. Absolute Citron vodka OR white tequila
• 1 oz. Cointreau liquor
• Cup of ice
• Optional: Splash of sparkling water
• Optional: Squeeze of lemon

Shake ingredients in a shaker and put in chilled martini glasses. Put pomegranate fruit into glass as garnish.

Tammy just found a big bottle of pomegranate juice at Costco, if you are interested in making these. I've discovered that the cranberry Sierra Mist is great with Southern Comfort. It reminded me of Sierra Mist mixed with cranberry juice, which isn't consumed in our house unless it is also mixed with Southern Comfort.
