Just wanted to give you an update on Linda's son. He had to have surgery on Wed night. But I did get an email from her today saying he was supposed to be released today. He is to go home on crutched and an IV, but after 14 more days should be able to resume normal activities. :cool1:

Marcie has croaking frogs, Jrsy has a blind barking dog, LuLu has affectionate cats and my mom and I have snoring DH/DBF to keep us awake. I wonder what Selena and Cristi have that keeps them awake!!!!

I have a freight train that runs through my bedroom.... wait a minute I think that might be my DH. :rotfl2:

Crisit - that is great about your friend's son. In no time he will be back up and running.

I went to visit the twins yesterday, it is so cute to watch them walk. Tyler actually runs and Joey walks!!

My mom found out what the antibiotic was contaminated with, not good. I will let her tell you.

How was everyone's weekend?

My weekend was okay. Aerial went to her Dad's for a week Friday, so, Friday night we went out and ate Sushi. Saturday we went to two movies. I picked one and Dane picked one. I picked The Lakehouse. It was sooo good. Dane liked it too. It was funny because there weren't many men at all in the theatre and he was worrried. :rotfl: But, it turned out to be a very good movie. Then we saw Fast & The Furious: Tokoyo Drift. It was really good too. After that we decided to go to Lake Charles (Lousianna) and eat seafood for dinner. We had to wait a while so we had a drink at the bar. It was nice. Yesterday it really started raining bad. We went to Dane's parents and watched half the Astro's game with them then had a quiet evening with the rain. This morning it is flooding all over the place. The schools shut down summer school. And, the rain brought back our lovely frogs. :rotfl: I took a tylenol PM when I heard them, I sure didn't want to have to hear them all night. But, I heard them bright and early at 5:30 this morning. :confused3 Tonight is my work-out night. I have enjoyed going back to Tae Kwon Do. It's going to help me lose a few pounds before the cruise too. :thumbsup2

I get to finally meet Cosmo soon!!! :Pinkbounc

I was able to talk to my stepdad and he informed me that the antiobiotic that my mom received was anthrax. I looked it up on the internet last night and the FDA recalled it and used some fancy medical terms. I will have to see if those medical terms means anthrax.

Marcie, we have some very DEAR friends that live in Lake Charles. They are elderly. Wonderful people. They want us to go out there sooooo bad.

CRisti, good to hear about your friends son.

Better run. I have to do so much that is related to my mom's death. I need hospital records. Not even sure if they will give them to me.

Oh Wow Sandy. Anthrax??? :grouphug: You are in my thoughts. I hate that you are going through all of this now.

Here is a picture that my mom took of Chris, the girls and I at the twins birthday:

Doing research. Just talked to a doctor. It WAS NOT anthrax. It was a skin organism bacteria. She said it should not have caused her death. Now I am trying to get her medical records from two hospitals.

I know I have been gone so long. I have been so busy with work and now I am finally off for the summer. Thank goodness.

I have been watching the NHL lately. My team just won. Way to go Hurricanes. Woo Hoo. They are announccing the MVP right now. It is our 22 year old Goalie. There is that Stanley Cup.

What has been going on everyone?

Sandy what are you talking about? Your mom?
Heidi great picture.
Marcie thanks for the emails. You too Karen.

I have been a busy beaver. I cleaned my front porch and waterproofed it. We also painted the rocking chairs. I have four of them. That was not fun. I have done tons of cleaning in the house today too. I also took E back and forth to baseball camp and my dog to the vet for her rabies shot.

Selena - glad you found your way back, we were missing you. Congrats on your team winning the Stanley Cup, I stopped watching when the Avs were eliminated but still followed it closely!!! So what are your summer plans now that you are off from work?

Marcie - How is the weather down there for you?

The flooding is not really bad at my house, but 15 minutes from my house it's pretty bad. They showed on the news how big trucks were driving too fast and pushing the water up into people's houses. That is ridiculous. People have to slow down when it's above their tires. It has rained nonstop since Sunday. We are still under flood watch today. When I got to work yesterday there was a lake in our kitchen. It was leaking. I hear it's supposed to start drying out tomorrow. Did y'all see it on the news?

Your welcome. I've read your last email a few times. I've just been doing a lot of thinking. Glad you are back. :goodvibes

Congratulations! I was thinking about you when I saw that in the newspaper. Of course you know that the Stanley Cup has been through Denver twice...both times since I moved here. I'm just saying.

Thought about you when I saw that in the newspaper, too. Tammy was even asking where you lived since she knows Cosmo will be heading down there. She was probably more worried about sending him into the middle of some flooding than she was about your well being.

Has anyone taught Cosmo how to swim yet??? :rotfl2:

Marcie, I saw it on the news. Hope you keep a row boat handy! I doubt that Cosmo can swim but my first suggestion to you is to TEACH him. I am a little worried now.

Selena, welcome, welcome, welcome, back. We missed you. Yes, I am talking about my mom. Lots of crazy things that is for sure.

Jrsy, I just have to mention how I found it interesting that Photobucket is here in Denver.

I have never watched a hockey game....sorry Avs!
