We just got home from seeing Harry Potter. It was good. A little slow in the beginning but good. I am tired so off to bed I go.

Selena, I think that I am the only person never to see a Harry Potter movie. I bet the lines were horrible trying to get in. Glad you got to see it.

No one in this house has ever seen one of the movies or read one of the books. None of my kids were ever interested. I think my dad bought the kids one of the movies but, it is sitting unopened on a shelf....

Aerial saw Harry Potter with her step-mom last night. I will go see it with her next week while I'm on vacation. I get 4 days off just to spend time with Aerial.

Oh and ummmm guess what....I'm thinking about getting a tattoo while I'm off. Yes, this party monkey has lost it. Anyway I'm thinking about getting a crown that says princess in it with a heart underneath with wings, and my Dad's Date of Death in the heart. He called me princess....and my love for disney....the whole picture is very symbolic. Now, I gotta convince my 13 year old I haven't lost my mind and see if I go through with it. The guy, I've been kinda seeing, my friends little brother, he said he would bring me. I'll keep ya posted if I really go through.

The movie started (well the trailers started) at 12:00 midnight. It was a late night. I got in bed after 3 in the morning. Then my dogs decided I need to get up at 8. Although jeff had taken then out twice but when he left they wanted me up so they barked until I complied.

Yeah it was busy but we went to a theater that is a little out of the way and they were not even sold out. We bought our tickets on July 4th when we went to see Transformers. The line was long to get in but we were able to get the seats we like with no problem.

Marcie make sure if and when you get a tat that you go to someone who is light handed. Do NOT go to someone who is heavy handed.

Where did ya get it? I hear it hurts bad on the back but that's where I want it. Aerial was actually excited, and I was worried. She's like Mom I draw all the time, I love that stuff. She wants to draw it for me.

Maybe you should only do one life altering thing every 6 months or so....

Great pictures!!! I could post a good picture of my niece and I from last weekend, but my work has blocked all the sites that I use to post pictures!!

Marcie - I think it is a cool idea to have Aerial draw the tat design. I am terrified of needles so there is no way I would ever get a tattoo, but I went with my best friend when she got hers. She is going to kill me, but she got a heart on her butt like a Care Bear has. It is so cute!!!!

The less flesh you have where you get it, the more it will hurt. If you get it on your shoulderblade it will hurt more than if you get it higher up on the muscle where there is no bone. I was told that the top of your feet is a painful place, but I'd guess your skull would be,too (not that I think you're considering one there). I think a lot of people who get them on their lower leg get it near their ankle bone, so I imagine that would hurt, too.

I drew the last tattoo that both Tammy and I got; it is the only one we have that matches, but we got them in different colors. It is a kokopelli with "ALEX" in the middle of it. We also got them in different locations.

Hmm...when we moved to Colorado and I changed jobs, Tammy was pregnant. I tried to squeeze as many major changes into a short time as I could.
