Hello, hello, hello, it's Sandy.

Jrsy, I am so proud of you and Tammy. There is no way that this old body could do a fourteener other than the cheat way of driving. Great pics. Oh and by the way, Cosmo is very happy BUT we forgot him at home on this vacation. Oops!

Robbie, it is about time that you checked in! Love the pictures of Cosmo.

Welcome back Selena and Stephanie.

Marcie, you go you party girl!!!

Cristi, I didn't know anything about the 7-11 thing either. Heidi had to tell me about it.

Jrsy - great pictures, I can't believe you and Tammy wore long sleeve shirt and pants...weren't you hot? (I am sure this is putting me up for a great comback from you but I am in a hurry so I can't reword it right now!!)
Aren't we always? (OK, I took it easy on you...this time!)

Wasn't it a bit cooler at the top of Pikes Peak? Tammy shed her long sleeves and just wore short sleeves with her fleece vest. I shed my fleece vest and kept on my long sleeves. Robert and Nancy both started in short sleeves but had to pull on long sleeves the higher we went. Didn't you notice the snow? It was probably in the 60s - 70s max the whole way up. I was comfortable until we got back to the car, then zipped off the legs of my pants and shed my long sleeves. If you are too hot in the plains, head to the top of a 14er!

Jrsy - you did take it easy on me. I was expecting a lot worse. Last night on the news I heard about a hiker who was found dead that was either on his way to or back from Mt. Bierstadt. He said he fell 1,000 feet. I thought of you and Tammy and the photos you took. Prayers for the man's family.

So today at work has been pretty tough. A coworkers husband committed suicide. He hung himself in the garage. They adopted 2 boys a little over 2 years ago and they are age 3 and 5. Very very sad. The funeral is on Friday so I am hoping we can all get off work to support her. My boss said we can have an hour off and the rest of the time we have to use our leave. I hope I am not the only one that will go and stay for more than an hour. Please keep her in your prayers.

How incredibly difficult. I will keep her and the boys in our prayers. I can't imagine how they must feel.

Heidi, what a horrible situation! This poor woman and these poor kids - they finally thought they had a home. :sad2:

From what I heard about that guy, he was doing The Sawtooth, which is the way to go from the top of Mt. Bierstadt to the top of Mt. Evans. I don't think I took any pictures of it, but it is for serious climbers only and is very dangerous. I don't know if he was an experienced climber or whether he was geared up and well prepared, but it sounds like no one saw him fall because they didn't start looking for him until his family reported him missing.

That is awful Heidi. That poor family. Those babies. Oh how tragic. Jeff's cousin's husband committed sucide when their sons were very young as well. Her oldest son who is a year younger than Erik found him. He shot himself. It was a long time ago. I mean those babies where young. I know how hard it has been on Suzy. I will keep this family in my prayers.

Well this weekend went well. We were at the State baseball championship. Friday and Saturday was pool play. We came in second in the pool and 5th in the bracket/State.

Jrsy - Chris wanted me to ask you if Alex was at a Dairy yesterday? He swore he saw him walk across the street with a lady coming out of a dairy. He said the dairy was in Littleton. :confused3

I doubt it was him. He and Tammy were downtown with me from about 11am until about 1pm, then they went home. Unless he saw them near Meadow Gold, which would have been on their way home from the light rail. Yesterday was a blood drive, so Tammy came down to donate, then we all went out to lunch.

It could have been Meadow Gold, I don't know (I am not even sure where Meadow Gold is)!!! He said it was in the afternoon when he was driving home from work and he thought he was on Belleview. So that means it was anywhere from 1:00-2:00!!!

Meadow Gold is on Oxford, just east of Santa Fe, and right near the Oxford light rail station. Ask him if the kid was carrying a stuffed tiger. Alex had Benny with him yesterday.

I asked Chris if the boy was holding anything and he said he had something in his hands, he just couldn't see it. I asked if it was a stuffed tiger and he got irritated and said, "I just told you I couldn't see what was in his hands" Too funny!!!!

Hi everyone. I can not believe I go to Vegas in 4 days. I had to unpack today and I still need to repack all of my stuck.

Heidi I sent you a reply. Just let me know what you want. Send it in a pm or email. Use jsme6 with the aol.com to email me. That is the email I check in the summer.

I really miss you guys. I guess everyone is just busy.

Hi guys, just got back from the dreaded swimsuit shopping. I have to get serious to get this weight off and exercise. As a coincidence, Heidi and I are going water walking today.

UGH! I know what you mean! I like the swim suit I bought on the Wonder this past Sept. I bought the water shorts to go with it -- it covers my thighs a little bit. ;)

Steph, thighs, that's it!!!! The rest is ok but the cottage cheese wide thighs. UGH!
