I went to Wal-Mart at lunch today and bought 2 packs of magnetic paper. It was way cheaper then at Office Depot. Now, I just need ink and I'm ready to print out signs.

Selena, have fun in the Keys!!!!!!

Cosmo is getting all excited about the ball game Monday. I will post pictures.

I bet he is excited. This is his first baseball game too bad he is not going to see a real team play like the Braves. lol :rotfl2:

Hmmmm...... the last I checked those Braves were nearly in the cellar.... ;)

Hi, guys!

Selena, have a fabulous time!!!! Take lots of pics! I don't know how you will top the candy bra, but you have to try!

OMG, did it rain here! I am just thrilled that only a little water came into where I work, and not the huge flood we had last time it rained. It absolutely poured! We gave women magazines to use as coverings when they left Curves! I was constantly cleaning up wet marks from sneakers.

Robbie and I will be here celebrating our fourth anniversary :lovestruc July 4, 2002 was when we first became "boyfriend and girlfriend" lol. :cloud9: and we went to see Lilo and Stitch, had dinner and saw fireworks from my town that day.

I bought some Island Breeze Bacardi- coconut- 1/2 the calories of reg. Bacardi (48 cals in 1 1/2 oz.) it's really good and I will think of something to mix it with. I have diet coke, light cranberry juice and I have sugarfree da Vinci pineapple syrup so I'll figure something out.

Summer school was much better today. The Director finally got her head out of her derriere and gave us our materials (except pens- the State says the testing must be done in black pen and she gave us green!) and hired a bilingual teacher! Yay! :yay: She speaks Spanish, which is needed but we also badly need an Arabic speaking bilingual teacher. Anyway, today was much better.

I am going to clean up a little and then relax. Robbie got a new dvd from Netflix so I think we're going to watch it and experiment with the Bacardi.

I'll talk to you guys later!

I was waiting on someone to bring this up. You are not a fan unless you love your team regardless of their season. :thumbsup2

Happy Early Anniversary LuLu. Thought I had better get that in here otherwise I may not get too.

Today is going to be crazy. My nail appointment from yesterday had to be moved to 8 this morning. Emergency happened. Anyway after that I have to get the poodles to my friends house. Jeff is picking up Mac from a church sleep over and we have to get her and our Golden to my dads. He lives an hour away. At 4 we take Erik to my FIL's to stay. Jeff still has to weed eat and pack. I need to finish packing. Since we are staying in the guest house of my friends sister I am taking a nice bottle of wine down. I still need to purchase this. Jeff and I decided we would take the Harley out for a short while this evening so he would not miss riding this weekend. lol We are going to out to eat so I will not have much to do later tonight. Jeff just reminded we MUST buy our lottery tickets and play it for today and Wednesday.

I had planned on getting a beach scene on my toes but now Janet did a 4th theme so I might have to do that instead.

I have not posted this before because I did not want to hurt anyones feelings or upset anyone SO take this with a grain of salt, k?
We are going to a July 4th party. It is a themed party. The theme is trailer trash. lol I decided on a pair of Mac's cast off jeans that I will cut off. I am going to buy a bright red tube of lipstick, do big hair, makeup so thick that you see the line on my chin, I was told I must show my bra strap. I am suppose to ler my ****s hang out but I do not have enough to do this. lol I might have to stuff my bra so that I do have so... :rotfl2: LuLu I am not sure if this will top the candy bra either. lol There is no telling what we will get into. I know we will go to Key West one day. I think we might go up to Southbeach one day. Otherwise we are hanging out and going to the Tiki bar.

I hope everyone has a great July 4th!!

Happy Anniversary Lulu & Robbie
:thumbsup2

Happy July 4th everyone!!!

Cosmo had a blast at the Astro's game. I did too!!!! We won 7 - 2. I posted some pics on the site. Here's one of them. Berkman  my fav player made two homeruns. The second one he made scored 3 runs!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Hello everyone, we are back. Had a pretty good time. It was rainy practically every afternoon but it really didn't spoil anything. Got to play with the grandbabies a lot so it made it very special.

Marci, I love the picture you posted.

Selena, you are way too funny! Have a blast!

Cristi, how much rain did we get here?

Lulu,HAPPY ANNIVERSARY !! I love all your ideas for saving calories with the Island Breeze Bacardi. The sugar free pineapple syrup is a great idea!

Better run. I am swimming in laundry and DH is outside changing oil in 4 cars. Hopefully the weather will hold out for him. The clouds are coming in again and they are pretty dark.

Happy Anniversary Lulu and Robbie!

Love the pictures Marci!!

Sandy and Heidi welcome back! We didn't get much rain at all here. Our sprinklers still came on on Sunday evening and they shut off automatically if there is more than 1/4 inch. I work with someone who lives in Parker though and she said it rained for 3 hours straight down there.

Cristi, Monument got quite a bit of rain almost everyday that we were gone. Not enough to spoil the trip though.

Sandy, sure did rain a lot last night. We were having a block party. We had tables, chairs and the grills all set up in front of our house. Out meat had just gotten finished and I was fixing the kids plates when it started sprinkling. Brad quickly pulled the cars out of the garage and we moved everything in there. We all thought it would pass over quickly, but it was not to be. So, we all (only two other families and a bunch of teenagers) sat in the garage eating our dinners. Then the teenagers took off and the rest of us sat out there talking and drinking. It was still fun, but we didn't get to set off our fireworks. Oh well... maybe tonight.....

I can honestly say that last night was the first time I ever watched fireworks in the rain. Cornerstone Park in Englewood/Littleton still set theirs off despite the pouring rain and we stood under the overhang of our garage watching them. Only one of our dogs was smart enough to stay out of the rain; the other ended up soaked. Then, some jack@$$ in the neighborhood decided to set of his own fireworks at 12:30 this morning.

We also got rained on as we headed to the Rockies game on Monday night. Unfortunately they lost, but I saw on the scoreboard that the Astros and the Braves won, so I thought about Marcie and Selena. BTW, loved all of the pictures of Cosmo. It didn't rain during the game and we got to see the fireworks after, so we had two nights of fireworks.

The most interesting part of the weekend, though, was the guy walking through our neighborhood who pulled a knife when our dog went to check him out. He said we'd better control our dog or he'd cut him. Needless to say, the cops had a little chat with him before he'd walked too much farther. We didn't press charges, but he could have spent the weekend in jail, and Tammy got to take a ride in a cop car to ID him.

And how was YOUR weekend?

:scared1: :scared1: Wow! That made for an exciting weekend, huh?!

Wow, my weekend was not exciting at all compared to yours. :rotfl:

It rained all the way to the game but stopped about two hours before, which is how I got to take the picture on the baseball. I was going to wear my July 4th tank top, but opted for an Astros tshirt and jeans because of the rain. But, at least it stopped so I was able to bring Cosmo without getting him wet. I'm ready for another game now.

Yikes Jrsy. What an interesting weekend you had!!

Cristi, sounds like the weather didn't affect the fun too much. I was at Arrow today, where were you?

Marci, it sounds like we are all getting the rain.

Jrsy, you weren't wearing paisley were you? ;)
I can't believe that story about your dog- I bet you thought you left that kind of stuff behind in Jersey. ;)

I can't believe it rained by you guys, too. Did it rain everywhere? It was pouring here- yesterday and today! Oh, well. Yesterday we had a barbecue with my parents. Of course it began to pour as soon as my father and Robbie went outside to grill, lol. It let up after they came inside though. :rotfl: After dinner, Robbie and I sat outside and watched/listened to all the illegal fireworks going off in our town. We heard ones at a distance down by the water and we could see the ones from two houses - both about 1-2 blocks away. Only in Jersey are fireworks illegal, yet you can see and hear them for hours. It's so funny.

Marcie, I'm glad you had a great time at the game. Your picture is adorable! I'm glad the rain held out a little.

Sandy, I'm glad you got to enjoy the grandbabies.

Thank you everyone for your Anniversary wishes! It was a nice day together. Robbie brought me this huge bouquet of tropical flowers and some other stuff when we said we weren't doing gifts. I felt bad since I only gave him a card, but that's ok. They're really pretty.

I have a new addiction- in the classroom I use for summer school, the teacher must have a nutrition plan or something because she has a scale. I get in early to weigh myself before school starts. Now, I don't know if her scale is off, or if I just weigh less because it's morning, but it's two to three pounds less than my scale at home. So, of course, I have to check it out and tell myself that this is the correct one, and mine at home is just wrong, lol.

Anyway, light cranberry juice with the Island Bacardi Breeze and pineapple syrup isn't bad, but it doesn't taste the same as the real thing.

I have a recipe for pina coladas from hungry girl that I'm going to try this weekend.

Here it is:

Hungry Girl's 100-Calorie Pina Colada Freeze!
Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz. Bacardi Island Breeze Coconut Rum
1 1/2 oz. Sugar Free Coconut Syrup (the recipe uses Toriani but I have Da Vinci)
1/4 cup light Vanilla Ice Cream (Breyer's Cal Smart or another with under 140 calories per 1/2 cup)
1 Tbsp. crushed pineapple in its own juice
3/4 cup crushed ice
1 packet Splenda

Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds. Pour. Then share this recipe with everyone you know!

*Each Pina Colada contains approximately 100 calories, 1.5g fat, 12g carbs, 2.5g fiber, 1.5g protein (1.5 - 2 points)

Yum!

Anyway, I have to get to bed. We are being monitored by the state (yes, of course this part of our state would still be running when everything else is shut down.) tomorrow and I am petrified. I hate being watched- it makes me paranoid that I'll make a mistake. I hope they don't even visit my classroom- there are like twenty others, maybe they'll go there instead. lol

I have a lunch date with a friend from high school tomorrow. She is pregnant and I haven't seen her since she became pregnant (she's about 4 months along now) I will definitely update tomorrow.

You all take care!!

Sorry guys, I was so busy at work I didn't have any time to post yesterday.

Jrsy - that is crazy about your dog. That guy was insane and must have been drunk or high....how did you get the cops there to pick up the guy?

Looks like everyone had a great weekend. I enjoyed my time off and didn't want to go back to work!!!

LuLu - It is illegal here to light off fireworks and to sell fireworks, but we have had them going off around our house Tuesday and Wednesday nights!!! I love them and can't sleep because every boom I here I want to run out and watch them!!! Thanks for the recipe, it looks so yummy. Good luck on your assessment, I would be nervous too because I hate when people watch me, it makes me so nervous.

Another busy day today, hope Selena had a great time.

Marcie - I loved those pictures!!!!!! Are you excited, only one month away before your cruise!!!!

Lulu, I would make more mistakes because someone is watching me than I would if it was just me. Nice to hear you had a good anniversary. I love the sound of the recipe. Heidi, we will have to try it!

Wow, my yard is a lake and the streets are flooded. I got to work this morning and the water in the parking lot is up to my ankles. It's been raining since last Saturday. I'll be glad to see the sun again. I can't believe everyone is getting so much rain.

I started making my packing list this week. :goodvibes This weekend we are going shopping for a few things. I am getting exctied now. Heidi, are you excited about Las Vegas?

Oh Marcie, I would loan you one of our boats (canoe or sailboat) but we need them here. I think the whole US is getting hit.
