For anyone who posts items on there to sell, how do you go about pricing clothing? Especially for little girls. I like to sort by size then season and sell everything together, but it gets difficult coming up with a price. Any ideas? Or even ones who buy from there, how do you know when you are getting a good deal.

i like to price things a little high because everyone will try to talk you down no matter what the price is..and you can always lower it. i would def sell things in groups and just sell at whatever you feel is a fair price to you -same with buying if you feel its a good price then go for it just be smart and do face to face cash only sales and dont answer wierd emails and you'll be fine and can make quick cash pretty easy.

My price point to buy is usually a dollar per ppiece for used baby:toddler girl clothes. Usually same price I'd expect at a yard sale. Yet at a consignment shop I'd pay more.

1$-2$ per piece. And every one thinks you'll sell it for less. So make sure you collect emails for at least a day before replying to any.

I then go through all the emails, deleting any "automatic responses" (ones that look like they haven't even read your post), then delete lowballers.
Reply to those that make serious offers, and the first person that shows up, gets it. I usually reply with phone number and contact info, and say call for directions. So hopefully the first person that calls will be on their way to you.

And don't forget to put in your area. Don't make it too broad if you live in a major city. Because you're already posting in a city list. I usually look over posts that don't give enough details to the location. They could be 10 mins away or an hour away. And some things just aren't worth an hour of time and gas.

It depends on the items. For things that are a little nicer (name brand or just in really great condition) I like to sell idividually. Those things can go for $3-5 or more if it is something like an outfit or is a nice brand. Things that are a little more worn usually go for $1-2.

I have done quite well on Craigslist and I think one thing is to take good pictures (if you know how to post them bigger than uploading them straight to CL, do that) and being very clear about the items and easy to reach and meet up with. Those things make a huge difference!
