For anyone who sells large items on here such as furniture or something like that, what do you do when people respond and want to see it? It just makes me nervous to have to let people in my house, if they would want to see stuff. I haven't done it yet. I haven't even posted anything because of not being sure. So what would you do? Should i just be sure to have people over or what is the best way to stay safe.

Personally I do lots of pictures of everything. If someone wants to see it, I show it to them. I haven't had someone not buy when looking at it though.

I just have to ask if you are afraid to have them in your house how were they going to pick up the item?

if I am selling something that I can not transport to a neutral location, then I always make sure my DH is going to be home also. We had a few, like a sectional sofa and tv with tv stand that we had to have them come to the house to buy, but I put the items either in the garage and leave the garage door open (so the neighbors can hear if we are attacked, haha ) or in the living room which is the first room you walk into in our house, so we don't have people walking throughout our house.
