just wondering if anyone has ever stayed there...i got a great rate of 108 a night, nick hotel was 169 a night. any thoughts?

Oops- I meant to ask if anyone has ever stayed at the cariberoyal hotel?

I am thinking of making a reservation there for thurs-sunday and just wanted some feedback. We don't want to stay on the grounds b/c my baby will not sleep if she sees us in the room with her...I figure these suite places are easier to go with the kids. Breakfast in the room--- much easier!

Any opinions would be great.
Thanks!

We are also torn between this property and a Disney deluxe resort. Can anyone tell me how late the pools are open?

I stayed in one of the 2 bedroom villas about 4 years ago and it was very nice.

I haven't stayed there but have always had it in my list of "someday's"... sounds like a great rate to me!

As someone who has struggled with a baby not wanting to sleep in a hotel room (he turned 18 last week!) I became a great fan of suite hotels, Doubletree, Amerisuites, you name it. That's a terrific rate at Caribe Royale. I often look, but it's usually priced too high for me. We have friends who stayed there and absolutely loved it.

I stayed there on a business trip in December of 2001 for four nights. It was very nice. Your rate is a good rate. At the time that I stayed at the Caribe Royale they offered a full (and very good) breakfast buffet to hotel guests. And, the pool is very nice, large.
