I like it! I'm gonna' give it a try but I may use one of them new-fangled LED candles.

Something similar, printing on the back of a piece of transparency film looks a *lot* like a cel. I tried one of the Little Mermaid, backed up with a piece of scrapbook paper (with an ocean motif) and it looks great.

The light has to pass through the colors twice before it gets to your eyes, making the colors very rich and saturated, like a cel.

hadn't even thought of that.. something like the Little mermaid with the non burning candles would be a cute night light.... maybe i'll come up with one for grandbaby's new bedroom : the possiblities are endless
