Awesome recipe from a local seafood place. It is sooo good and easy.
1 stick of butter
4 cups milk
2 cans campbells cream of potatoe soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can chedder cheese soup
3 tsp old bay
1 tsp white pepper
1 pound of crab meat (I used 1/2 special and 1/2 lump)
melt butter in large pot, add milk and warm. Add soups and seasoning and mix with hand beater gently heat until hot not boiling or it will burn. Add crab meat and let simmer for 30-45 min to thicken do not put lid on pot.
That is it. I servied it with crusty french bread. Everyone raved about it. You can also leave it in a crock put to stay warm up to 4 hours.
