Does anybody know if the CR has a kiddie pool (meaning a toddler pool, with only about 1 ft. depth)? Deb Willis' site says there's one near the playground at the North Garden Wing, but not all the maps show it. I know the round pool overlooking the bay is too deep for a little one (DS is 2).

(P.S. - anybody know why there isn't a Contemporary FAQ?)

We stayed in the NGW in May and as far as I know there is not a kiddie pool at CR.

I thought I read about a kiddie pool at CR also, but when we stayed there in 2000 I asked the lifeguard on duty (very snooty by the way) and she said "NO there isn't!"

We stayed at CR last November and there was no kiddie pool. We were disappointed.

Thanks for your replies. It's a bit surprising, since every other resort, to my knowledge, has a toddler pool. I wonder why they didn't build one when they re-did the CR pool a few years back.

Oh, well, I guess maybe that will be an excuse to visit Tykes Peak at Blizzard Beach!:p

I was counting on there being a toddler pool! I just assumed they had one. What were they thinking?

Ya know, I could almost swear there used to be a toddler pool there. It was before they built the new pool I think. I wonder if it was in the area where the new pool is now... hmmm, can't remember exactly.

At any rate, we stayed there (after the new pool was built) with our then 1 yr. old and he was fine in the main pool, we just put him in a life jacket or his floaty thing that he could sit in. There is also a fountain play area where the water shoots up out of the ground that is nice for the little ones.
