CR Room descriptions

On the Disney website it lists the following rooms for the Contemporary. Standard, Garden View and Wing Room. What are the Standard and Garden View? Are these in the wings or in part of the tower? Thanks.

KathyT, when I booked my CR Tower Club room, I was told that the two room types were Magic Kingdom/Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. From what I’ve read of the Wing rooms, the two views are garden and standard. Folks say that the standard rooms usually offer the less desirable views (aka, parking lot views). I should note that even with my Magic Kingdom view room, I also had a view of the parking lot (click here for on-line photo album). Go figure.

Those were great photos. They show the layout of the tower rooms perfectly. The views are great. I can't wait.
